My disabled husband's power lift recliner stopped working. I checked to make sure everything was plugged in correctly, which it was. I resigned myself that the motor had failed & we needed to buy a whole new chair. But then thought to replace the remote. It came quickly and was incredibly easy to swap out. The chair works as good as new, saved us hundreds of dollars and saved the chair from a landfill.

I went to recline one day and the handle broke off. I feared I would have to open up a line of credit and purchase a new sectional. But instead I re-enrolled in YouTube University and discovered I could buy a replacement handle and could install it myself. An 8 dollar part versus a new 15 hundred dollar sectional. Can’t beat it. Now I can hold off on getting a new sectional. Sitting with my feet up as we speak. Update: 8/15/25. This one broke also, I must use this lever a lot or it’s cheaply made. I will purchase another one, I’ll try the heavy duty one this time cause this one is no longer available. Let’s see how long this one lasts. Still don’t have to buy a new sectional, so that’s good. Will keep you posted.

Our pull had broken on our oversized chair so I found the exact replacement on Amazon. The style was the same. My husband installed it with no problem. The quality seems very good and it works very smoothly. I’m very pleased with this product and grateful to have the use of my reclining chair again.

The Golden chair had stopped working, but we noticed that if you jiggle the cable where it meets the remote you could get it to move sometimes. So I ordered this replacement remote. It arrived within days and works just fine.
