Overall, very good light for small aquariums. I've only used this for freshwater aquariums that were heavily planted. It worked very well for my 5 gallon aquarium, but when I'm using it for a larger aquarium, I don't think it gets good penetration if it's if the water is too deep, but overall very good light for a small aquarium. I would recommend it and have been using it.

The light is decent, very well built and provides enough lighting for my 6 gallon, per my experiment it is able to light up to a 10 gallon, but you will need 2 of them for anything larger than that for efficient plant growth.2 month update: I'm still happy about the ligh, but there are some cons I need to mention after 2 month of use. 1. the light gets SUPER hot after turned on for 2 hours, it burned my skin red so be careful of the heat. 2. the light has a very nerrow light source compared to the flat ones sold by ONF, nicrew or beamwork(I got those lights for other tanks). this light comes with the lense which alters lighting degree, but still, it throw a nerrow lighting. As a result, all my plants in this 6 gallon waterbox grows towards the center, compared to other tanks growing straight upwards, and the plants in the corners does not receive enough light. It doesn't bother me so much as I replanted my tank, and put some low light plants at corner. but if your already did your scape, think twice if this light is the right one for your tank.

I only just ordered this product so I unfortunately can't comment on the longevity. My first impression is positive. The light is bright white and does not give off a blue or yellow hue, and my plants seem to be growing. The light does get pretty hot to the touch after being on for a while, which is probably my only complaint thus far. There are dimmable settings, which is convenient. If it is able to last more than a few months (a struggle I've had with cheaper lights), then it will have been well worth the money.

I love this light paired with a smart plug timer and have zero worries! Its super quiet and loved being able to adjust the light in so many different levels to my fish's/plant's needs.

I received a dud that will not turn on no matter what I do. And from reading other reviews it's clear I'm not alone. Terrible quality control and the app is some sketchy garbage I wouldn't want to have on my phone. Looks nice for the price but you get what you pay for I guess. The gooseneck seems to be sturdy and well made for what that's worth.
