Trouble piercing? Thick ear lobe? Consider this!
I got my secondary lobe piercings back in March and the left ear just wasn’t healing. It seemed swollen no matter how I cleaned it or left it alone. I noticed how it felt tighter than the other ear even when I loosened it. At one point the earring was swallowed by my ear! Even though the piercer says it was straight, I figured out the path/angle of the piercing was different and caused it to go through more flesh. Once I finally figured this out I order these longer post earrings to let my ear have room to heal and BAM PROBLEM SOLVED. I am so pleased!

Long post perfection
Thank you so much for these and every one who left a review convincing me to take a chance on these.Yes, they came in piercing packaging and as piercing earrings, the posts are point tipped, not rounded, but they were super easy to remove from the packaging and the posts were the absolute perfect length to replace my original, second ear piercing studs. The backs do lock, my extremely sensitive ears have had absolutely no adverse reactions to the metal (been wearing them non stop for a full week), my ears are no longer swollen and the earrings are not sinking into my ears the way my old ones did. I didn't even file the tip down, like others suggested, just went slowly when putting them in. It was 100% pain free and since swapping to these, all of the other painful issues I was having with the piercings have cleared up.If you have thick ear lobes and are sensitive to metals, try these!

Exactly what I wanted!
I have existing piercings that I haven't put studs through for years. I recently tried to put them in and was shocked the holes were still open! They were super tender though, so i needed some good earings to wear while the tenderness subsided. These earrings are exactly what I was looking for, something that would stay secure in my ear, but I could still get under the back and stud to clean the piercings.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
Perfectly sterile packaging. Absolutely EASY to use. LOVE it!If I can recommend anything to DIYers like me, DON'T overthink it.The only piercing that hurt was the one I hesitated on, and it only hurt BECAUSE/while I was hesitating. 🙈Also, something I learned after the fact, is for an ultimate painless experience, load up on 600-800 mg ibuprofen about an hour before you pierce.Obviously wash your hands with soap and water. Sterilize with a cotton pad and rubbing alcohol.Oh another key thing, rub your ears clean as minimally as possible. First hold a rubbing alcohol saturated cotton pad on the site for at least 40-60 seconds. THEN wipe clean.THE most important thing about piercings is undoubtedly aftercare. Make sure you have a good ear piercing solution and clean piercings thoroughly 3x daily and immediately following a shower or any sports, activities or outdoor events.

My ears were already pierced so I didnt use them to pierce. The first hole in my earlobes was fixed by plastic surgeon because they had that stretched "ripped" look to them. They were fixed great but the problem is it made the earlobes slightly thicker than normal. It's not noticeable to look at but very noticeable to me when putting on earrings because standard posts just squeeze my ears and makes them red and swollen. I will always be limited to long posts now for first hole. But on top of that I seem to have gotten super sensitive to earrings because every time I put a pair in "even long post" my ears would be so red and swollen within 48 hours, yes I use good earrings and clean them before putting them in. So I saw these and when I got them through the mail I cleaned earlobe and carefully took out of packaging without touching post because they are already sterile and put them in. Let me tell you.....it has been 2 solid weeks with these earrings in with no swelling....no pain...no reaction.....nothing!! It has been years since this has happened. I was about to give up on earrings. These earrings are no better quality than the others I have I think the reason is because they come completely sterile. I may have to buy new ear piercing earrings all the time, but I will wear for a couple months at a time so really not much of expense. Whatever works.
