Aluminum is a great thermal displacement material.
Good case! Aluminum design works as intended .

Great protection and mountable
I used this as a headless server case on my network shelf that I did not want to just sit on the shelf. I was able to easily assemble the case in about five minutes. Once in the case, I was able to use the mounting holes to get it off the shelf allowing for airflow around the case. I ordered a second one, different color for my next project.

Factory assembly related issues
First off, you get exactly what is in the picture. this is an all aluminum case with a black bottom and green top. the green cover needs to kind of slide down over the top - there are small little square tabs on the front(?), that need to line up. This proved a little trickier than i would have liked, but did work. I had some issues with the screws that were supplied with the case. There was one odd silver screw that is threaded differently than any of the others and i could not see a use for. The wall mount brackets are separate, and attached with (hopefully) four screws. The brackets have countersunk holes which is nice. there did not appear to be a left or right bracket, so I did not have to worry about which to mount. The holes in the bottom of the case have nuts set in them (or at least looks like it) to accept the screws. Two of the three screws I had left threaded fine, but the last screw did not want to thread into either of the holes. If I didn't intend on using the wall mounting bracket this would not be a big deal - but this was the main reason i purchased this particular case. The case does come with a fan - mine actually came with two fans, along with a note saying that a fan with the wrong pin configuration was installed by mistake by the factory. The fan is held in place by long screws and small nuts. I replaced the mounted fan with the replacement fan provided. This fan has a two pin connector - located right next to each other so you have to use this in the HIGH SPEED setting for the raspberry Pi (vs a split connector with a single connector for each). The replacement fan is LOUD. Like, really loud, and I don't think that it is just because it is running on the 5v. I can clearly hear the wine of this fan from the next room.

Metal Case for a PI 3 format computer.
I've gotten to where I want to use metal cases for my small computers. After several years of plastic cases that have been so so in durability. This one I used with a Libre LePotato board to make a quite nice little streaming end point.

Case is great BUT the fan ruins it.
The case is a nice bare-bones aluminum wall-mount with a perforated cover for air flow however the included fan DOES NOT FIT. The fan is intended to be attached to the cover via 4 machine screws that should (but don't) fit through the covers' air-flow perforation holes because they are too thick and are also too long. ALSO I feel that 2 fans are needed for this design. 2 fans would fit nicely mounted to the cover (with the proper sized hardware). I've read other complaint reviews of this case and the company listened and stood behind their product and fixed the issue to the buyers satisfaction. I hope to be able to write a happy ending to this review.

Fits my structured cabling panel with minimal modifications
I have a Commercial Electric brand "15 in. Plastic Telecommunication Enclosure" with a hole pattern in the back for mounting things like patch panels and the like. I drilled two of the holes out on the feet of this case to 1/4" and picked up some leviton 1/4" pegs. I am now able to mount my raspberry pi without issue in my panel.

Inaccurate description. Didn't include fan
This did not come with a fan like described. I saw a lot of other reviews saying it did not come with a fan but didn't think it would happen to me. I guess I'll be returning this.
