So far I have bought the of these Polar Gear bottles - one for myself, one for my partner and a replacement to my one due to wear and tear.The plastic is thick and BPA free. The spout is sturdy and doesn't have a taste. And most importantly, the bottle also DOES NOT LEAK. It's easy to fill and relatively easy to clean. The sturdy handle can be used for carrying or hanging off a bag.There have been some inconsistencies with the length of the straw that comes with the bottle. One of them was too long and if poorly positioned made it difficult to drink from. Hopefully this was a one off. I've bought cheaper versions and they haven't had the same leak free performance. It'll likely cost you a couple of pounds extra, but you shouldn't have to replace it for a long time.

The bottle has a tiny air hole at the top to compensate for the pressure and it whistles when you drink. It whistles! And it's annoyingly loud ! If you want to really annoy your classmates, work colleagues or just yourself with a whistling sound every time you have a sip of water, this is the right bottle for you.Other than that it's a nice sturdy material and looks good.

For £7.99 you get a nice bottle that has a lift up lip that you drink from & it has a little air hole so bottle don't squeeze in & when you put drinking lip down it seals the air hole has well GREAT DESIGN !!. Also has a little handle so when on a bike in a holder you can just reach down grab the handle lift it up & no worries about bottle going flying across the road like i have seen... The straw inside you can take out to clean & it save you lifting the bottle up in the air to drink water & take eyes off road while drinking looking up, with this bottle the lip is connected to the straw inside so just ride along drink easy no worries close lip put back in holder.This can be used for Hiking, camping it is a very well made bottle & worth every penny. I ordered 2 for my bike so not short of water or squash drinks.

Arrived quickly and packaged effectively.I have brought these bottles before (approx 4yrs ago) and they lasted the relentless use of all our children, so very durable.Only replacing as my son broke the plastic ring seal on one of them.They are a good size, don’t leak and easy to wash.(Would advise to get a straw bottle brush cleaner)Def will buy again in the future.

This bottle looks really cool in black. Nice size and easy to hold. The straw makes it easy to drink, especially when you want one when you're in the car stood at traffic lights or stood in traffic. The flip top shuts nice and snug. I did want to use it for when I'm riding my cycle as well, but I found the fliptop to difficult to flip up using one hand whilst riding. It has a nice carry handle. I suppose if you like you could always attach a strap to hang it on your belt or anywhere else if you haven't got an external pocket on your back pack. All in all I would recommend this smart looking, decently priced chemical free bottle.

Great bottle overall, I like using it and I tend to use a water bottle over a glass of water at all times so it’s had a fair amount of use. I was a bit disappointed that the handle snapped in half after maybe three days of having it and it wasn’t subjected to any falls or bumps. I can still use the water bottle and the handle if I’m careful not to get skin trapped in it - just a word of warning that it might not be particularly sturdy. Doesn’t have much of an impact in regulating the water. It’s a bit leaky at times, and especially if it’s not upright and the straw is up - made that mistake once when I was driving and it rolled over in the passenger seat, my seat got soaked. But overall, I’d buy it again, it’s a nice wee bottle

As others have said it doesn't have the horrible smell that new drinks bottles usually have. The only negative for me is that it's really hard to keep the lid clean - there's no way to get cleaning brushes in around where the spout is attached and there's no way of removing it for easy cleaning. Hence I bought a second one. That said - they're priced extremely well and look/perform well

Bought one of these to put fruit juice in on my fishing trips, I like to have home made fruit juice each morning but when going fishing I don't always have time to drink it, so I got this so I could take my drink with me, however if I fill with just water the water adopts the flavour of the fruit juice that was in the container, it seems that the plastic has retained the flavour of the juice no mater how much I try to clean it, even left to soak for a couple of days, when used for just water the water tastes terrible.
