Bought this mainly because of the price. When I opened the package and compared to the $75 one I purchased at our local Caldara dealer, I didn't notice ANYTHING different. The size of all the pieces of the filter matched with the dealer was selling but half the price. I did notice the first time I slipped the filter in, it was a little snug to get in place but no worries, it was some extra plastic from the molding on the inside of the filter.Now I'll purchase new filters every month vs. trying to clean my filters and get another month out of them.

Love the filter replacement option. Fits perfectly for my Costco Aquaterra Fairfax Spa. Easy to install and remove to clean. And it’s half price of what dealer was asking. Thanks again.

Like all my Amazon purchases, I shop Amazon until I am "blue in the face." This filter was half the price of many of the filters that can be used with a Caldera (Watkins) spa. Most filters listed gave the dimensions along with the models it is compatible with. Be sure to measure the diameter, the length, and the standpipe diameter that goes into the bottom (femaie) end of your OEM filter. This filter was snug, but fit tighter than the one that came with my spa. It was made really well.. I always buy my filters in pairs (even though I only use one at a time). That way, one gets pulled and immediately cleaned, while the other one is put into the spa. When you immediately clean and rotate your dirty filters, they will give you YEARS of service.

I agree with the other reviewers regarding the "snug" fit issue and the small pull handle to remove the filter. Especially with wet fingers and a worn out rotator cuff However, TRY THIS: I drilled a small hole in the handle and attached a sturdy zip tie. Zip tie broke once after a couple months and I just replaced but it does solve the problem quickly, IF YOU have a drill of course! I like supporting Made in USA more everyday!

This fit our spa / hot tub perfectly. We have a Caldera Hawaiian and had no issues seating it. The last two we got (different brand) would not fit.

This filter is a close proximity to the factory filter but it the bottom mounting hold is too small (without forcing--which I would not recommend) to mount up to the tub. With sandpaper and a file, I was able to modify the filter to fit properly. The fix would be super easy for the manufacturer to do, so hopefully they figure it out.

It was a snug fit in my Caldera Spa. Maybe the original filter had shrunk a little bit after being in the hot water for so long? Works great though, and I'll buy another when the time comes.
