These barrettes were just what I was looking for with the exact colors I needed too! Black and Navy are the best basic colors that can match almost anything. It was nice to have a metallic silver/white gold color as well, and of course purple is a favorite too! The size is smaller, just right, 2 and 1/2 inches (2.5") long. The barrettes hold back all of or just part of my fine hair. These are great and just right. There is also no gap between the barrette findings when it is closed. So no more slipping out! I purchased the same brand, exact colors years ago. Some are still working just a little dingy, Started looking everywhere for the exact set, I was so happy to find these. I ordered them, first time I use 2 of them they broke. They are flimsy and don't function anything like my old ones...very disappointed ☹️

These barrettes are sturdy and hold thickish hair great.

The picture made it seem like the metallic one at the top was silver...it turned out to be gold and the whole reason I bought this product was to get the silver clip. Fortunately, the other colors are ones I don't have anyway, so it's not an actual loss...Just frustrating that I didn't really get a silver clip.

Nobody makes these as well as Goody. These are the best barrettes for thick hair! They stay in place and maintain a firm hold on my hair. If you have thick hair and want to hold a section of hair, these are perfect!
