OMReishi Organic Mushroom Powder 7.14 Oz. Formerly Matrix 138503

I've been drinking mushroom teas for Reishi, Chaga and all other mixed teas from Four Sigmatic. Got these Om brand reishi and chaga but this is not mushroom tea. This is more of just full of grain and starch with very little mushroom if any. I tried this since price seems to be a little cheaper but going back to Four Sigmatic. Disappointed...

There are 3 great medicinal Reishi products that I use: Ron Teegarden's Four Kings, Paul Stamets My Community and this. The first two are capsules. Capsules are OK, but this is more like a food. I add this to Coconut water in a shaker cup. Tastes like oatmeal, which I guess it is grown in. If you take a Reishi mushroom and boil it it tastes like wood, so this is a nice way to get Reishi without the horrible wood taste (think tea). If you take medicinal mushrooms (Reishi, Maitake, Cordyceps, Chaga, Turkey Tail, etc.) you won't be getting colds and viruses. Also, if you got talked into cancer Chemo or radiation, you need this big time. A steady diet of this will prevent cancer and other diseases. If you go to China, they have two healing tracks, Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine. Chinese medicine involves in many cases daily doses of Reishi, the mushroom of the Emperor.

0 medicinal value; grown on oats and not processed (reishi must be cooked low temp many hours, otherwise the beneficial compounds which you likely are purchasing this product for, are not at all bioavailable). High quality reishi is bitter (this is sweet). This is essentially an expensive and low quality but somewhat tasty flavoring agent.

I bought this product to help level out hormone levels and support my active body in a variety of ways. Love the taste! Have noticed a huge different in menstrual cycle, symptoms, and energy. If not contraindicated with something you already take or an ailment, I believe everyone should be taking a mushroom supplement daily. They are such a powerhouse of nutrition!

This is the second time I am drinking from this container. I have been drinking various Reishi from other brand I found this appealing because it’s grown in the USA. However I found the taste and texture of it is very diff than others. First the taste and smell of it is awful, very fishy for some reason. I wonder if that’s a bad batch. Also the reishi doesn’t blend well with hot/warm water. It has substances at the bottom. Also has very earthy texture. I have to wait for couple weeks to tell if that’s effective. If not. I will not buy again. If goodi will consider the capsule version since the taste is so bad.
