Sitting somewhere between Gold Panda, Flying Lotus & Johan Johannsson, Andrew Bayers second album is a 16-track journey through woozy, dreamlike glitch and reflective electronica, showcasing the unique abilities of the former Berklee Music student in kaleidoscopic beauty.

Very unique and odd but highly musical album from a musical genius
Wooww!! Andrew Bayer is another unique musical genius. This album is filled with really interesting abstract music with unique time signatures and ambient textures. There's some melodic stuff and some strange stuff but all of it comes together in a collection of very thoughtful and different but highly musical ideas. The album cover is also very appropriate. If sound had physical shape, it would be described much like this album art.

Beautiful Album!
I don't know exactly how to describe this album, but it feels like an electronic album with the influence of classical music. Mind you, this is far from classical sounding, but the album is intricate and detailed that is reminds me of listening to a piece of classical work. I highly recommend this to anyone who does a lot of deep thinking and needs detailed background music that is mostly void of lyrics.

If you like the deeper side of trance, give this a shot.
As most deep trance fans know, Andrew Bayer is one of the collaborators for the Anjunadeep compilations, which are all amazing. I gave this album a shot after liking Anjunadeep, and heard a preview of it on ABGT, it does not disappoint. Very fresh and different in a genre where it is very difficult for an artist to do something that truly stands out from the rest. Great album.

Excellent
From the deep and moving (Gaff's Eulogy) to the upbeat (Lose Sight), this is a really good body of works from Bayer that will be a hit with a diverse range of listeners, much like Brian Eno did with his works across the years. I hope we can expect more creativity from Bayer in the years to come.Grab a copy, you'll assuredly find it enjoyable.

Fantastic album
The album as a whole creates a very pleasureful ambiance. I have probably listened to this album every day for the past two weeks. It's hard to pin down my favorite track as it varies. I'd say Echo, Make No Sound, or Soul Cry. Though, there really isn't a single track that it's good. Worth a listen if you're into this type of music.

A chill but playful album
I really love this album. It's one of the few that you can start from the first song and play it straight through or shuffle and still get the same great experience. If you're into the calm side of electronic music this is a great album for you my friend!

Meh!
As fun as Andrew Bayer's music has been over te last few years, this album seems like a template for great remixes though on it's own it's slow and relaxing instead of heart pounding, pulse increasing electronica that we're used to hear from this fantastic DJ.

More mellow than his first, but great none the less
I bought his first CD after hearing a track on Universal Religion 5 and loved it. This CD, while a lot more mellow and filmic sounding than the first, has its dancey moments (more funky beats than trance) but is primarily a chill-out album. Having played it a few times, it gets better with repeated plays and I can just imagine it playing in some beach bar in Ibiza or Miami at the end of a good nights clubbing.Don't be put off by the first two tracks, which on first listen appear to have an odd structure (although not after a couple of listens), the album doesn't really kick in until track 3. All of the tracks are instrumentals, with the odd processed vocal sample thrown in, and with all tracks having several layers, the end result is both stunning and beautiful.

A Masterpiece an audio piece of art.
Words fail me with the beauty of this album by Andrew Bayer. I first heard Gaff's Eulogy on A&B's radio show Group Therapy and I fell in love with it I knew I had to get this album and boy what a CD it is too, breathtaking would be one word i'd use to describe it. Right from Opening Act to Closing Act it's faultless Andrew has created a soundscape where the listener can let their imagination run wild, it's mean't to be listened to start to finish as all the tracks interlink. If you buy one album this year get this one, even if you don't like electronic music it's a must you will be amazed by it. I really can't recommend this album enough, gorgeous, well done Andrew Bayer it certainly caught my imagination keep up the good work.

Grown Up Electronica
I have to say i rarely write or read the reviews on many websites, slightly doubting the authenticity of the authors, but this time i have had to add my views. i am not a natural critic, but this album is incredible.i have loved BT since his first album and quite like some of Mr Bayers earlier dancey stuff, i understand that they worked together as well.it has clearly done Mr Bayer no harm at all, this offering is currently on in my car/iphone/work/home it is really something else, one other reviewer used the term filmscape, that is very apt. it is some BT, some trentmoller, some cinematic orchestra, some Bonobo, but somehow quite different and unique in its own way.Chilled dance/electronica for grown ups and not the kids, more please.

Doomsday is drowned out by the beats....
The music on this is great but something's up with the mastering of some of the tracks, which is a huge let down if you're in to your audio. For instance Doomsday, when the beat kicks in it drowns out the rest of the music.I initially bought this on iTunes and thought it was the MP3/AAC quality but after getting the CD and playing it on a decent pair of KEF's I experienced the same thing.Would love to know if anyone else has this album and didn't experience the music being drowned out on the heavier beats because the content itself great, just the sound quality.

A Fantastic Album
Well, I don't usually write reviews, but when I listened to this album, the impression was so big, that I had to write down a couple of words about it. This is a very rich electronic album, and with every listen you'll discover more. Orchestra strings are very well combined with electronic sounds. Some songs seem as if they were pulled out of a movie soundtrack. All in all - an excellent electronic album which you will be getting back to very frequently. A must-have.
