Excellent for use with a torch.
I wish I'd gotten these glasses years ago. With these I no longer have to swap between tinted and clear safety glasses while using the acetylene torch at work. In full comfort and protection you can light, set and use your torch and once you shut it down, flip up the dark lens and see what your doing clearly. Great for all sorts of torch work like loosening, cutting, bending and brazing. They are NOT dark enough for welding. Use proper welding gear for those applications.

The key here is how comfy they are on the head. You won't wear unfomfortable PPE and these let you stare straight on at oxy cutting safely.
