Levi's Men's 559 Relaxed Straight Jeans

These are a cross between sweat pants and jeans. I was super irritated because that’s not what I wanted, but wore them anyway. I love them. Not what I thought I was getting and for $40 I woulda been pissed, but for $20- they’re pretty comfy.

A tad bit loose feel in the thigh area and bit saggy even for my size, but overall great quality jeans and different colors.

I've had different brands of straight fit jeans. I'm 6'1 and 190. Usually I wear Calvin Klein 34x30 jeans. I like my length just a hair short, more of a modern fit. Compared to the CK, the inseam is the same. However. The total length of the jean is about 1.5 inches shorter than the CK jeans. They ride that much lower on the hip, and the CK was labeled low on the hip. It's also a bit slimmer fitting than the CK. Waist is spot on. I'd say this is a bit slim for a relaxed jean. I did wash it once, and there is no perceivable shrinkage. I think the material is a bit rough. The grey color has a bit of a rougher texture than the blue color. Not sure why. Also, I'm very sensitive and like really soft jeans. These aren't that soft. I wore them for 3 full days, hoping they'd break in. I think they will, but needs more time. I feel like I want to rip them off after a few hours.Overall, I think this pair fits true to size in terms of waist and inseam. They are a bit slim for a relaxed cut. And the material is a bit rough.

These are really great jeans. I like the fit. The legs are wider than most jeans sold nowadays though. Me thinks the skinny jeans revolution is terrible. I hate skinny jeans!! However, due to the fact that the legs on these jeans are a little wider than many jeans sold nowadays, I feel that these jeans fit great. Very comfortable in my opinion. Good crotch!! My only knock on these jeans is the price. I paid $39.99 for my jeans from Amazon. I feel that the Amazon price is too high. While they would have probably cost more from a brick and mortar store, I shop at Amazon to save money. I feel I should have been able to save more money from buying these jeans on Amazon. The negative aspects regarding buying online remain the same. You have to wait to receive your order, product may not be exactly as described, or the product might not fit the way you like, are all detriments to buying online. Give those drawbacks, one should be able to save a good amount of money on a product when compared to offline purchased in my opinion. I just feel that these jeans should be cheaper on Amazon. However, I WOULD MOST CERTAINLY PURCHASE THESE JEANS AGAIN in the future.

Way looser than shown in the pics. Stretchy and not very breathable, won't be wearing these on hot days.

I've made the mistake of buying clothes online and learned that I should probably stick to buying clothes in the store, except for these...The AWESOME thing about buying new Levi's jeans online is that you can easily replace old jeans just by looking at the waistband label. If you're not concerned with having the latest, new styles, you can easily look for the style of your old jeans (located on the bottom left side of the tag) and search for the exact same pants. That way, you never have to buy a new style. If it were up to me, my old jeans would last forever and I'd never have to replace them, but now its incredibly easy to not only replace them, but find the exact same pair in different colors. I now own 3 of this style, in different colors, and it gives me just enough variation in my wardrobe to not look the same everyday.Of course, the jeans are Levi's quality: great material and put together very nicely! And, with Amazon Prime, shipping was quick and easy, as expected.If you have an older pair of jeans to get the style number off of, don't hesitate to buy these off Amazon.

So for me the jeans I ordered are comfortable, and I like the look, but there are a lot of things that were surprising that others might not be as okay with as I am. Since I'm a negative nelly, here's a breakdown of things that you might be unpleasantly surprised by that I personally didn't mind.1. The jeans I got were made in Colombia. One might expect Levi jeans to be made in the USA.2. The waist was pretty loose, in a size that would typically not be loose on me.3. The fabric is thin, soft and stretchy, not at all like the "rugged" denim you might expect from Levi jeans.4. From "relaxed" fit pants I would expect a pretty spacious crotch. These come close to being, shall we say, uncomfortably snug, in that department.5. They could easily get pretty tight in the leg if you have hefty or muscular legs.All in all as a slim person I am satisfied but not delighted with the jeans I got. I'd order another pair (in a slightly smaller size) if they went on sale significantly, but at this price I'd probably try something else first.

I just wanted a pair of basic durable jeans - not ones that were already ripped or had fancy stitching on the pockets or were so low on the waist that they showed - well, you know - when I bent over. I was getting a bit disgusted with other brands as they seemed not to be made very well and sometimes the fabric lost its shape after just one wash - never to fit right again even though I'm a fairly small person. I had not had a pair of Levi's in many years, but I was feeling a bit nostalgic for my old 501s and the fabric they were made from. These are just about that. They are comfy, look pretty durable and they fit pretty well. They look stylish, but I feel I can wear them cleaning house or working on other projects without worrying that they will fall apart. I purchased a pair of 550s at the same time, but in a different fabric. I could say pretty much the same thing about them. Can't decide which pair I like best, but I've come back to Levi's.

Because of the stretchy waist, I will order one size smaller next time. Otherwise , the jeans are great.

took old jeans and ordered the same. Same brand, same stile and same size. Color was only different. Fits and looks as expected.

OMG a pair of jeans that actually look good, well made. I'll never buy anything but Levi's Red tab again.

I have purchased jeans from levis through amazon. What I received is a CRAP material made in somewhere China or east Asia, which rolls out on bottom.I can send you the pictures, Issue is that when goes down it rolls and side becomes front, problem with cutting direction. and the return date on amazon expired, I would like to inform the defect, as I am an approved QA guy in textiles.
