We got this for my son. He is 11 months old and was scooting around within the first minute of sitting on it. The seat feels a little too flexible for a bigger child. I think it is exactly right for a 1-2 year old to learn on. If you have a older or larger child you might find the seat isn't as sturdy as you would like.It is exactly what we need for our early walker to learn to ride on.
