A good product
I ordered this for my toddler and I am very happy with it. The slate is durable and even the pen. The horse shaped marker broke the very first week as my daughter threw it and I haven't been able to fix it. Beyond that it is a very good product. My daughter loves scribbling on it and I get some time for myself when she is with her magic slate. However, there should be something that would tie the pen to the slate. If you lose the pen, it's of no use. I used a thread to tie it to the slate.

About the nib
The nib of the pencil broke earlier than expected, probably within a week. I wouldn't recommend buying this around the infant
