Indigenous history told by a woman who lived it.
Settling America and what it meant to the Indigenous people who lived on the land. An honest look at how both sides dealt with each other and the ultimate outcome of government policies.A good read.

Important. Noteworthy. A must-read.
Very interesting reading. It reveals much about the Native Americans/First Nations experience in trying to maintain their cultures and rights in the face of government opposition. I highly recommend that every high school student read this book.
