The wheels are poorly attached to the frame and break with in the first few uses. And they do not respond to you when you contact them. I got one for my daddy and he used it twice and it broke, my dad is very slim about 180 lbs, I suggest you try another brand. **Q: Can you help me find replacement casters for this rolling stool? Twice I've ordered the right wheel size not to have the screw base fit.** A: Maybe try to contact the Adam’s company directly. **Q: Is that base plastic or metal?** A: It is made of lightweight plastic, and it flops around when you pick up the stool. With tools in it maybe not. My stool has a padded seat and is great to move around in. It is very stable and easy to move around in.
