Brewcraft Orange Carboy Cap, Plastic, 2 Spouts

I bought two of these from different sources. The first one fits tightly on the Better Bottle carboy. The secoond one needs a rubber band to make it fit tight enough. The way to tell the good from the not so good is the good one the two spouts are parallel to each other, the not so good has the small spout that points at an angle away from the large center spout. I would recommend it, just use a rubber band to be sure it fits tightly.

Works just fine. There's not much to say beyond that. I am using it on a 6-gallon carboy to allow me to rack wine using vacuum.

I put this on a 5 gallon carboy. It seemed to fit very snug. Once fermentation began, i noticed there was no movement in the blow off tube (no gas in the sanitation solution i used to create an air lock.) I was brewing a Belgian triple that was fervently fermenting, so I needed an airtight blow off set up. I had to use electrical tape to seal the bottom of this product around the carboy enough for gas to pass through the blow off tube. I think if I wanted to tape up my fermenter, I would save my money and not buy this product. I threw it away. My batch of expensive beer was compromised. That's not a risk I will take again.

The plastic is more rubbery than firm like my other Carboy caps which makes the vent assembly a bit wobbly but it does the job and that is all I could ask for.

Garbage. This WILL spoil your fermentation.Showed up warped and covered pock marks from sloppy manufacturing. With some kind of grime inside.Not even close to holding an airtight seal on a standard 5gal glass carboy.Go with another product.
