Data Structures and Other Objects Using Java Review: Good but not necessary - This books has some pretty good examples of basic data structures, ranging from LinkedLists, Tree Structures, Lists, Queues, and Stacks. The content the book provides isn't necessarily all that great through as it just kind of skims over what's really happening in the code. I'd say if you're a beginner to java and you need something to hold your hand a little bit through what each piece of code is doing this book isn't for you. If you're someone with maybe a year experience or more you'll best just fine reading through this. Although anything in this book you will never need to know, it's still a good idea to practice and understand the algorithms that are used to produce the structures. Review: the content in this book is great and well-organized - I need this book for one of my CS class. But seriously, the content in this book is great and well-organized. Everything is explained clearly. Very understandable as long as you have basic knowledge of Java. Such a great book!

It's kind of long winding but not too bad..
I'd say it's a decent book. Used it over this semester for a data structures class. It's kind of long winding but not too bad... The examples and exercises are also good... I would recommend this book as an introduction to data structures. This should not be your first Java book. This is intermediate Java.

The quality of print is not good. The pages are very thin so you can see them on the next page. after spending almost $150 on a book, one would expect a better quality. book. The pages are yellow and it is hard to read the words on them. The book arrived in good condition.

Great book
Great book. Highly useful for learning and practicing the design and implementation of data structures. Great for learning other software design principles as well, such as information hiding.

Poorly Executed
The book has many typographical errors that make both reading and understanding difficult. Additionally, the book is poorly bound and made of low quality paper. This could have been a decent book if the publisher had spent a bit more attention to detail during editing and printing.

Cheaper than school!
Book was cheaper than required for school, I definitely saved some money on this, it got to my dorm quick too. Great read, too. Definitely helped clear up my professors lectures, and he didn't go off the book.

JAVA
This book is required for some ComSci classes and is a very big help with intermediate programmers. Definitely would recommend.

Bought this book cause it was used in my data structures class, would not recommend this to anyone. Very little code in the book, and the examples are redundant. Anyone that has to buy this, go find something else or you will be looking for other references constantly.
