StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD Spicy Korean Style with Gochujang - 2.6 oz Pouch

I enjoy these with a little ranch and pretzel thins. These pouches make it very convenient for work!

The Jalapeño tuna is spicy and flavorful. The pepper flavor has really soaked into the tuna, the end product is better than just adding your own chopped pepper to a can of tuna and eating immediately. It's probably not as tasty as a home made infusion, but it's a heck of a lot less work! The pouch packaging is light, needs no tools to open, and is a bit cleaner to eat from.

These tuna in a pouch are fantastic. They are tasty and mostly protein and will fill you up with less calories than an average slice of bread. You can eat one of them as a standalone meal, put in a microwavable plate and heat them up, or use them as an ingredient in meals. I like the Bold variety as they have a slight kick without being overly spicy. I've tried many of the varieties, but I enjoy the Red Curry ones the best. You can taste the coconut milk curry flavor which goes great with tuna.The Jalapeno one is best as an ingredient. It tastes like normal tuna with bits of jalapeno in it. This makes it great in an omelet or making tuna cakes - like crab cakes but with tuna.The Sriracha and Hot Buffalo Style are also not too bad, especially if you do not care for curry.The Thai Chili is okay, but the flavor of the Chicken of the Sea Spicy Thai Chili is, in my opinion a little bit better - sweeter and with full chili peppers in it.I have not tried the spicy korean or the tapatio flavors yet.For non-Bold flavors, the honey bbq doesn't taste of honey or bbq much.The sweet and spicy is more sweet than spicy, and is pretty good.I would avoid the chicken creations pouches. I'm not sure why they didn't go with the same type of recipe as the tuna ones, but the chicken pouches seem like they have a far higher percentage of modified corn starch than the tuna ones, which to many people, makes them resemble cat food.

This is a great product, it’s just pricey.

My family of 6 loves these Starkist tuna packets and this is our favorite flavor. However, they are pricey! I try to buy them on sale, but finding these on Amazon was a win. It was the lowest price I've seen anywhere (not all flavors are the same price so I am referencing only the Buffalo variety). Arrived in perfect condition and would definitely purchase again.

I love spicy foods and this tuna is just right--not too mild and not too hot. Great as a healthy snack or meal. Great protein source. Less costly than anywhere I've checked. Plus, this type is not always offered in my local stores.

I don’t like the taste of this pouch but I love tuna and jalapeño separate so I was surprised I didn’t like this. Just an odd flavor. But try one pouch, maybe your taste is different than mine. I love the ranch ones! Yummy! However, regardless of taste you’re still getting a grey source and amount of protein. Great for lunches or on the go, maybe hiking, or in a emergency food kit.
