NOT SPILL-PROOF! Still awesome!
We got this for my son's birthday present. He loves it. He thinks it's so cool. Dislike: I was looking for a cool nightlight that didn't have risk of getting spilled like how lava lamps are sealed. This has a lid that just fits over the top with no click, lock, etc. So I have to put this up, it cannot go in his room until he's older, maybe like 5. However. I am not returning this because it is awesome, it is realistic and the kids love it. We will treat it as practice for a real aquarium that I don't have to worry about not killing! By the way, if anyone knows of any extra replacement jellies, these are so cool and I want to order more!

Don't waste your money
I saw many like this and was so excited to try it after reading reviews. You can understand my great disappointment when I followed the instructions to a T for it to work for 10 minutes and then that's it. The parts that are meant to push air and make the jellyfish move one doesn't work at all anymore and the other barely.... So no movement, just some sound. What a waste. Also, I think adding the dish soap as per instructions was a bad idea.

Not what I expected
I'm not sure what I was exspexting. Followed the directions. So for rubber/plastic jellyfish, you need to wash the tank, soap and water.. Then used flitered water in the tank. Not sure why.. I digress, anyways, the jellyfish sit at the top of the tank. Not doing much. The bubbles push the jellyfish back and forth along the top. Also I looked it again trying to figure out what is going on, and one of the jellyfish tenticals was stuck, in the motor. The motor sound is a little off putting, at first I thought something was wrong with it. After watching the reviews I figured out it was normal.Giftable? I'm not sure, the idea is nice, but maybe I messed something up.Just in my opinion not work the money. It's pretty, just nothing like what I thought it would be. I thought the jellyfish would float around a little, nothing crazy, but that's it.

Not worth it
The lighting and background are nice. Just as said in reviews i read the jelly fish do not swim they float on top of the water. I did everything as directed. It was a birthday gift for my 4 year old daughter. Its nice for a night light but when on it has a vibrating noise that doesn't work well to fall asleep to
