Rovi CL-6001 GPS Dash Cam

Tiene 4 años que compre esta dashcam y la verdad me ha funcionado muy bien, excelente calidad costo-beneficio, no he tenido problemas hasta el momento, el único detalle es que la montura se aflojo un poco con el uso, pero no resulta en algo que afecte su funcionamiento. Esta camara se puede desmontar fácilmente ya que se monta sobre un imán el cual solo lo tomas y un con un tirón la puedes llevar contigo o guardarla en algún lado del automóvil. Tiene una función de grabado continuo la cual graba fragmentos de 10 minutos de forma continua, cuando se llena la capacidad de la memoria lo que hace es ir borrando el fragmento de video mas viejo que ha guardado, en caso de accidente el fragmento queda protegido contra el borrado ya que la cámara cuenta con sensores que detecta cuando has tenido un accidente o posible accidente. Tiene una batería pero la verdad dura como 30 min sin estar conectado, yo la tengo conectada a la corriente todo el tiempo. No incluye memoria por lo cual tendrás que adquirir una micro SD en mi caso fue de 64GB que creo es la capacidad recomendada por el fabricante.

I just got the dash cam and went for a drive. Quality is excellent and the ability to live stream to FB (hope you all know what social media platform that is), just add another dimension to it all. If ever you want to go driving and critique how bad or good drivers are ;)I just have to set the date, time and change from Miles to Kilometers (I am in Canada). I had an issue with static in the audio but when I stopped using the built in USB port on the car and used the 12v adapter with USB then there was no static (most likely a filter in the adapter).Shipping was fast, from Wisconsin (love that state) to Manitoba and packaging was exceptional.There customer service is excellent and they do answer you back. I am very pleased with the company.Worth every penny.Update;I have been using this for a few days and here are my final thoughts and input on the dash cam (yes still worth every penny).Further to add to my review is with using the MAP software for video review that will use the GPS to show your location while driving on a map.I have notices that you cannot change to Kilometers and the camera only records speeds in Miles. Something to consider.You need to go to the ROVI site, look up your dash cam and click on the download tab there and download the application. However, when you go to install it on Windows 10 you get a warning that its an unrecognized app. Click More Info and then Run anyway and AWS Player will be installed.For the AWS Player the Map Type won’t show Google Maps (not for me anyhow as I am in Canada) and the only working map is baidu map (a Chinese map company I am guessing) but it will not track my driving unless I switch the speed unit from KPH to MPH.All in all it works.I figured I would try some other free GPS dash cam tracking software. I tried free version of Dashcam Viewer and had to download a Codec pack (software prompts for it after its ran). My ROVI isn’t listed in supported dashcams I tried it anyway and it was amazing. Shows satellite view of google maps and can change speed to Kilometers and it will show in the application the correct speed (while dash cam video will still show MPH) for KPH.There is a lot more but to much to get into. I like this Dashcam View software much better and would recommend this one over their player, especially so if you need this for court and/or insurance reasons. La app ya no esta disponible… Ya no puedes ver los videos.

This camera is horrible. Not user friendly to set up. Interface is old and half the time non-functionable. Recordings stop whenever they want, there's no guarantee that your accident will be recorded. I had it set up to overwrite when it runs out of space - that didn't work out, almost hit my car today and wanted to look at the footage, what I found was footage from like 3 months ago. Their app is something outta this world. It's glitchy, slow and not working with their own camera. There's zero chance that you will download footage through the app, app will just crash. I only had it for a little over two years, and had these problems all along, but was always hoping they would fix this and that, so never got to return the cam. Overall, I am completely dissatisfied with the purchase. Would not recommend it to anyone. There are better options for better price.

Es muy fácil de instalar y de emparejar al iPhone para ver los videos en el celular, estoy muy contento con la compra
