Q: Can you poach eggs in this oxo gadget? how many eggs can be poached at same time?

I don't think you can poach eggs in this one. I like mine a lot. Put one egg in, put a little hole in the yolk and put on the microwave for 32 seconds. Amazon has one that takes two eggs with a little water in the cup. That one is more like poaching. I have both and use all the time for a quick breakfast.

Q: Is this good for coddled eggs

Yes it works for coddled eggs; just be careful as the bottom piece of the cooker sometimes slips off and the egg falls out.

Q: Is the egg cooker , the part where u plop the egg a solid piece? It looks in th pictures like th bottom comes off?? If so how do u keep the eggs in

The red base piece where the egg sits while it cooks comes off. This is convenient as it allows for easy removal of the cooked egg and for cleaning. It fits very tightly onto the white cylinder piece. I’ve never had it leak the egg. It may leak if you try to cook more than two eggs at a time. It’s not made for more than that.

Q: How to fry so white is done but yolk slightly runny? First I did one was perfect..since then part of white is not cooked

I would cook in two phases, and try it at 70% power.
