These are excellent to wear while riding the bike.

Outer shorts are fine. The inner shorts bought were an XL to fit a man with a 38 waist, however they fit a ladies size 12. I will keep them because they fit me, however I will need to order an XXXL in order to fit my husband.

Having separate shorts and cycling shorts/padding is probably a clever idea. Although to maximise the value I'd neat to get another pair of padded cycling underpants. Also for me personally; the outers fit perfectly and padded inners are a bit too snug (I suspect more due to a big posterior than impressive manhood). They do protect when cycling though which is the main thing.

Nice shorts for mountain biking, not material I wanted bit like swimming shorts. They do have mesh stretchy parts to them.

My third pair of these shorts. They are comfortable and long lasting, and they helped me lose enough weight to go down a size, so now I need a new pair!
