Great Stuff, works well.
My Springer Spaniel tore the skin off of both his front pads while hiking through limestone bluff country. I ordered this, applied as directed and within two days the pads had healed and my dog was doing great. I apply this once a week as my dog is very active, and will run until he falls over. This stuff works great, keeps the pads very tough, but also supple so they are not prone to cracking, splitting or getting torn. Great product. Yes, it does have a strong smell (very much like turpentine), but I apply it outside and within ten minutes the smell is gone. Works great, I highly recommend this product if you have an active dog.

excellent.
Easy to apply, and works very well in the field during hunts. Has an definite odor that keeps my dogs from licking at it, but it is not unpleasant. of all the products on the market this is the easiest to apply with the brush supplied in the bottle. We use this in the weeks up to a hunt and as a healing agent post hunt.

without the diarrhea its an easy 5 star product
This stuff worked miracles on a deeply cut pad. Probably could have used a stitches, but I don't have a dog that would allow something to cover a wound without ripping it to shreds. Shes got a lot of smoke and is a true K9 athlete. The pad was cut during a hunt, and I order Pad Heal, it came a couple of days later. We applied pad heal a couple of times a day, for 2 days and the open wound had begun to heal instantly almost instantly. There were negatives. First as the product directs apply outside because the smell is strong, keep dog outside for as long as possible. My dog licked the product constantly, and get diarrhea. I'm not saying the pad heal caused it, but she did get it after we began to apply it, the product is safe and is a bunch of oils, and it does work for the pads, even with the diarrhea. This product gets 4 stars, without the diarrhea its an easy 5 star product.

A miracle product
This product was a miracle. Our poor 1 year old German Shepard had cut her pads pretty bad. Had whole chunks missing from the pad, she was limping around for 2 days .. we put this stuff on and it was instantly healing. 2 days later and she is acting like nothing ever happened and her pads are growing back miraculously.

Great tool for "weekend warrior" pad injuries :)
Border Collie puppy had bad "pad burn" after a long walk on rocky trail. I've never bothered with a product like this before, because we previously lived where the dogs could freely run on the same rocky ground. Now we live in a HOA - lol! I applied the Pad Heal, and rested him in his crate for an hour. Noticeable but not unpleasant odor. It absorbed in the time I rested him, and he was not limping after his nap. If you've never dealt with severe pad injury, definitely consult your veterinarian first. But this is a great tool for those of us with really active "weekend warrior" pups!

Best pad healer
I always make sure I have this in my doggie first aid kid -- five working dogs. A friend's dog burned all 4 pads on hot pavement and this product healed them unbelievably fast. When I know my dogs will be working on hard ground or hot areas or even on stubble fields, I use this for a week before. If they cut their pad, I immediately use twice a day and healing is much faster.

Works well but smells strongly
I use this on my dogs paw pads whenever the have issues. It has a very strong piney scent which really bothers me, but my wife doesn't mind the scent. Be very careful with this around any clothes that you care about! I spilled some on a sweatshirt and it stained it and retained an odd scent after several washes.Even with the downsides, I still recommend it

Great stuff
This stuff is brilliant. I only noticed a slight smell and more importantly the dog wasn't bothered at all by the smell or having his pads painted.
