Wow!Where has this been all my life??!!This is a nice hard wood case with magnetic closures. There are ports on the right and left side for routing charging cables and adapter cords in a clean method markedly diminishing the clutter on my night stand. It is spacious inside to fit two surge protector strips, adapters and cables.This comes in a lot of different colors to suit your furniture decor.I decided against plastic since I read that the top was not stable.This works great for me. It doesn’t have rubber feet to keep from slipping so I will have to add them.Fit and finish of the box are great.I posted a pic of the “Before” look which I had put up for quite some time. I got the idea to use this organizer after visiting the Container store.I’m very pleased since it minimizes clutter and keeps the cables organized. They included Velcro ties for the cables to be wrapped, also.On the bottom there are holes if the user desired to wall mount this box.I highly recommend this.I may get another.

The overall material was good except the hinges pin which came in broken.

Easy to pile all the cords and powerstrip into the box; attractive; sturdy; immediately bought a second for the other nearby powerstrip and all its cords. The area is so improved now, can't believe I didn't get these sooner. Update: I've just gotten my third one of these--can't recommend them highly enough! Most definitely worth the money--sturdy, solid, attractive.

I was looking for a gift for my techie son in law when I came across this beautiful box. I ended up purchasing two, one for a gift, and one for myself as I have had a rats nest of wires behind my entertainment center that plagues me every time I move it to clean. The box is very well made, large enough to fit a 12 inch long surge protector, and gobs of unruly wires, plus it looks great!! I love it. The lid is hinged for easy access, and it has four small magnetic posts buried in the lid and box edge that hold the lid shut, so its convenient to open. If you are looking for a box like this to compliment your décor, this is the one. I spent a little more money, but it was well worth it. Great for a unique gift also, it's well packaged in an attractive cardboard box.
