Lightweight and probably flimsy for heavy gauge wire
These seem a bit light and flimsy so I don't imagine they will stand up well to anything too heavy duty. I don't think enough length is given on the individual steps to give any worthwhile quantity of rings or shapes and it's always difficult to get the wire to stay put when you first start coiling unless you can clamp the end somehow. Not sure if putting it in the handle end might work as I have yet to use this particular mandrel but judging by other mandrels an anchor will be needed. I mainly got this for the oval shapes, always a bit tricky to get right so I am hoping this will do the trick.

Good product
Good item, just don't think you'll be able to do thins straight away- takes some getting used to. A notch in the top and bottom would be good to keep the end of the wire stable while twisting the shape
