If you lift heavy you want to use these. Comfortable, easy to use mouth guard a d you will feel a difference in your lifts

I thought these teeth guards would not affect my gag reflex like normal mouthpieces do. I was wrong! The fitting process was difficult as this tooth guard definitely affected the gag reflex! For those without a gag reflex, these would be great. I am going to try to break the gag reflex by wearing these throughout the day, off and on. If I can break the gag reflex, this tooth guard will be awesome. I am thinking about ordering the low profile to see if they would work and not cause the gag reflex. The only thing I am unsure of is if the low profile would be okay for weightlifting as they are advertised for cardio and HIIT classes.

Even companies that sell sleep apnea mouth pieces allow you to return or offer a refund. This is a small amount of silicone and is very cheap to produce. It cost more then most of the alternatives. The 5DS is very large and caused nausea when inserted and was unusable. Your only option is to email Newage and they have not responded. That should tell you something about this company. I would recommend looking for an alternative mouthpiece for all these reasons

Really difficult to get a good fit. I had to redo it 3 times before I got to an acceptable mold. Has worked with lifting weights but remains to be seen if it helps jaw pain in the long term.

This product is easy to fit your teeth, feels comfortable if done correctly. These are great for remolding if needed. They definitely help you lift heavier and protect your teeth.

I’d rather lift with this than not. Idc if I’m doing 10lbs curls I want to wear my mouthpiece. Beat investment I’ve made when lifting.

Like this product as I find when lifting I tend to clench my jaw a lot. This saves the grind on my teeth and also keeps my jaw in line. Will buy again when I go through this one!

Its nice and all but it took me like 2 weeks to bite through it

Went into my first set with the mouthpiece in with no real expectations but I can say it really does work. Immediately got a few extra reps than I managed to get last workout and I don't believe it was due to any other variables apart from the 5DS mouthpiece. In my opinion, it's worth it. Also helps protect your teeth which is an added bonus ofc.
