Previous "natural" deodorants have been ineffective for me, but Captain Blankenship was a pleasant surprise: effective at odor control, pleasant herbal fragrance, compact size in a glass jar. Recycling blue glass in my area is not possible, so that is one negative for me, but it's still preferable to plastic.

Tried it for the first time and applied it before I went bed last night. In the morning, I was odor-free. Worked all day including about an hour of gardening in the sun on a 70-ish degree day. (You've just got to love California in February!) So far, so good. I am very pleased and feel that this product will do the trick. Due to an allergy that came on out of nowhere, I had to find something that would not cause itching and sometimes a light rash. I've been using a natural product before, so I was used to applying it with my fingertips which is really no big deal. For just one day's trial, I am impressed!

This came highly recommended to me by a doctor and when I received it, I was thrilled b/c the smell is lovely. Sadly, after using for a few weeks, I have suddenly developed a huge rash under both arms. I cannot figure out why. It is not an antiperspirant but never claimed to be. It has been REALLY a hot summer here and I was sweating a lot with it. At any rate, if you do not break out in a rash, I recommend it b/c I did love it.

This is exactly what I wanted in a deodorant. It's effective, light scent, and most importantly, the deodorant wasn't hard to wash away in the shower. After 4 hours of cycling or tennis, no offensive odor. If I could change anything, I'd make the jar larger and include an applicator. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely! Will I purchase this again? Absolutely!!

I want it smell more.

I have tried other natural deodorants and they just don't work like this does! It is a miracle! I had an issue in the past with the product but thought I would give it another try and it was WORTH IT!!!

Was not sure of applying the cream to underarms; it felt a bit awkward at first. but I can easily get used to it as it is very effective product.I like the clean scent of this as opposed to another organic deodorant I have been using. Both are effective; I prefer the scent of this one. Wish it came as a spray as that would be a little easier to apply but love the scent and how effective it is.

Only works if you do not sweat at all or in the winter months. Does not work if your exercise at all or in the warmer months.
