These arrived sooner than advertised - great but as it was the start of the week, I had to get them planted asap which meant digging holes after work in the dark.Planted by torchlight by a very inexperienced gardener in February. Pretty sure my neighbours thought I was burying a body.Realistically I didn’t have much hope for them as I’d been told snowdrops can be temperamental and won’t always grow. My soil is very stony and there’s lots of tree roots.I expected they’d quickly lose their flowers this year and maybe flower better next year.Happy to say I seem to be wrong - they’ve taken really well and survived three storms having only been in my garden for about 3 weeks. And my dogs have tried trampling them too. Pretty darn sturdy.Also, they’re flowering really well, bringing a lovely delicate reminder that spring will be upon us. Eventually.Photo of my ‘rustic’ garden taken the day after storm Franklin, as you can see they (and my irises) are still standing tall despite protection only from neighbouring bushes.Would highly recommend and will order from here again the next time I get excited about plants.

Excellent little Galanthus nivallis, all of them in good condition and strong plants, very pleased well packaged in a strong box, I planted these within a day in plant pots, which I will leave in a position out of the sun and next year I will have the joy of sharing them with friends who also love these winter jewels.

The order arrived very quickly, well packed and the bulbs were of very good quality. I would order from them again. Within a day of planting the leaves were beginning to stand up again. Some were still in flower as well.
