No more limping
Product was easy to install in my shoe and provides comfort. It relieved my back pain and is an excellent value for the money. I did try them in my sandals but slipped out. They really should be used with shoes with a back. I may try sticking them with gorilla glue then they may not slip.

Be Prepared to Trim with a Sharp Razor (No Scissors!!)
I purchased two large-size lifts to use with some Oboz hiking shoes I have. I use these more for additional heel cushioning and to change the foot strike rather than to correct a limb length difference. I purchased the large size (rated for 12 to 14 men's shoe size) because I wear size 13 shoes. The width is a way too much (3-1/8") for my 2-1/2" inside heel width. The medium size would actually have been a better fit.But regardless, both sizes would have been too wide, so trimming of both the width and the rear curvature is needed for a good fit. Do not attempt to use scissors. They will just make a mess of things. I used a razor trimmer with a straightedge. That worked quite well. The razor cuts nicely through the material, including doing a freehand curve to fit the rear of the shoe.I also found that the 5" length was way too long as it protruded into the arch. I did not need the full 3/8" thickness, so I discarded the top piece (the one with the suede cover.) The suede really is not needed as this goes underneath the ensole in the Oboz shoe. The material itself is somewhere between soft and hard and provides good impact cushioning under the heel. After I confirm this is what I want, I will use some double stick tape or double stick foam to prevent the lift from moving out of position.

It flattens instantly
I adhesion none. Maybe at 1 timeBut not on these. Dilly me I hadnt open the 1 I had here at home and bought 2 more. I should had done so. Myfault so I will keep them. Since they flatten they did me any help. right leg shorter then left one. You may buy if you dont need so much height or weigh less than I do. I thought that may have been the reason they flatten at once.
