Tight with Fenders, but so far rock solid.
I delayed getting a rack since they're big and ugly for bikepacking. I tried to get seatbags to work for quite a while and the constant sag and cargo limitations proved too much.I settled on this rack after looking at reviews from other sites. A couple of items - This was installed on a 2020 Trek Dual Sport 2. The bike has a modern frame and mounting points. Installation was a cinch. The lack of installation instructions originally perturbed me, but there are plenty on YouTube and truthfully you don't really need these on a modern, commodity-level bicycle.Other interviewers have suggested it's not disc-compatible - this was not my experience. There was plenty of clearance here for mine.I can see why fenders would be extremely tight. I put a plastic fender on recently that just fit under the frame. While I haven't beat on this for years by any means, I have to say that the quality of materials and finish appears to be high quality. It's appropriate for the price point and makes me bullish on other Axiom products. It held up rock solid during a multi-day trip over rough roads and singletrack when weighed down with multiple pounds of strapped cargo.

Good fit for 148 Boost spacing, rides a bit high
Replacement for a 700c Jandd Expedition rack I destroyed by spanning out to fit rack mounts on Boost spacing. Didn't want to make the same mistake. When shopping no racks clearly advertised to 148 Boost, so I went with Axiom because it at least said 29er. Figured I'd give a review just to say this one fit fine with just slight spreading to make 148 spacing. It's sturdy, and actually rated for heavier weight than the mount points on my Niner SIR9 (rack is to #170, but Niner rates rear load on the bike to #55). Simple install. Rides pretty high, which might be issue fully loaded. Then again, the stays are just long enough to snugly support wedging in another Nalgene with small bungees. Photos are size L SIR9 frame, 29X2.3 tire, dressed with a Jandd mini-mountain pannier.

Great rack!
I have used the skinnier version of this rack for more than a decade, and I really liked that, but because it was so narrow, one of the struts contacted my rear fender. I finally decided to solve that problem, and I'm glad I did. This rack is still narrow, but has room...it's also taller, so if you run fat 700c tires, no problem. The one thing I don't care for is the black finish, which is fragile...but I can live with that.

Got sent used rack missing piece
They sent me a used rack with scuffed paint and it's missing an end cap on one of the mounting tubes. Looks like a solid rack but you'll probably get a used one if you order here.

Looking for a better way to mount it!
Very sturdy rack. No directions. I looked around on the internet to find a little help to mount it and did not find much. My Diamondback Overdrive 29er small frame with disc brakes is maybe too small. I still made it work. No way I could get the braces to reach the seat clamp. I did make it work the single brace that is supposed to attach to the brake caliper mount on standard brakes but there is no hole in the stay where the standard brake would be plus the bracket would not be long enough to reach. I turned the bracket upside down and attached to the seat post with a hose clamp. Kind of mickey mouse but it is sturdy. It is also leaning back further than it should but that is as far forward as it will go with my frame setup.

Perfect fit for 2023 Specialized Stumpjumper
Quality, clears the disc brakes, attached without modification to the bike frame with included hardware. Plenty of clearance. I do not use a fender.

Really nice rack, be aware of fender clearance
I love axiom racks. This looked and fit great on a trek 520 until I tried to put the fenders in. Ultimately I ended up returning the item. The design is not friendly with fenders. I hope to be back and purchase this rack for another bike if needed. I would definitely give this a shot if you're not planning on installing fenders.
