Excursion Pro K1 Inflatable Kayak 1-Person Set with Paddle & Pump

Very good for shorter river trips 1-2days or a full day of fishing. They features I like most about this kayak compared to some of the others in this price range is the D rings and the seat setup. You can buy after market d ring kits but they can’t be put in inflatable kayaks that stretch. D rings are very useful for rapids and white water. Having the ability to clip/strap you stuff to your kayak incase it flips is important. The seat and bottom inflatable booster is a very nice touch. Riding on the booster makes it a little unstable on rapids due to being higher up. At the same time it is nice because it keeps you out of any water that splashes in making it longer in between time you need to bail it. It also has a bailing hole in the back so you don’t have to flip it over to drain. The booster is also nice for flat water and fishing because again you wont be sitting in any water that comes in and it gives you more hip space. It get a lot more stable if you take out the booster for rapids and being that it is not very big you can take it in and out and you wont get winded if you choose to deflate it for a river trio when you know bigger rapids are coming up. The sides and bottom get fairly stiff when inflated to recommendation of the gauge so class 1&2 white water will be fine. I am not 100 percent if I would take it on higher classes. It maneuvera well and the 2 skeg length both track ok. The oar is serviceable for a beginner. It is rather light but the paddles are kinda flimsy. There is a lot of complaints about the fishing pole holders pointing away from the kayak and I can agree. They are just fine if you are putting stuff on your line or just holding your pole for paddling but they are a little bothersome if you want to set it and for get it. Having them face out the side or swivel would be better. All in all I am very happy with this and try to use it a couple times a week. I bought a separate backpack for the pump and attachments so I don’t know how well it all fits in the bag.

We have an expensive Vibe Ocean Kayak weighing nearly 100 lbs and have really enjoyed it for the past 18 months but felt we wanted something easier to load, unload, use and go about our days so we could just go kayaking for half a day, no huge strain, portable, but didn’t want to sacrifice sturdiness and durability so we ordered the Excursion Pro for about $174 each, we ordered 2. We found it took about 15 min for each kayak when us old buggers blew up the three chambers and, it was doable. We kayaked for a few hours and it felt great, we felt safe in the mangroves.. even with alligators around, we had about 300 lbs and it could have handled more. The Kayak itself said it held only 260 or something but online it said 400 so we ignored the boat itself. It can easily handled 400- 450 lbs.. If I had a negative comment it would be the oars are poor quality so we will use our better oars for them. Also, there is a bit of a learning curve. It took an hour first time and 15 min 2nd time. Keep in mind we are 65 and 68 years old, so you have to cut us some slack. We OPENED THE BOX WITH CARE so as not to cut the kayak. We like these kayaks so far. Just tried it out today for its first test on a local lake and I can say I definitely recommend it with some very important things a buyer should consider. PROS: -Extremely easy to unpack and to blow up. Took less than 5 minutes from packed to ready to paddle. -Very maneuverable and very lightweight. Not very fast though, this is best for casual paddling only. -I am 6ft 1in and 240lb, the kayak felt like it fit me pretty well and I did not feel too heavy for it (except for the chair). CONS: -The chair is pretty bad, I am going to be replacing it ASAP, it was good enough for the first 20 minutes but after that it felt like my back was going to explode and I am a reasonably healthy person. -The paddle is acceptable for now but it will be the second thing I upgrade, it doesn't feel like it will break but it just feels a little flimsy. -The kayak does not carry any momentum, the moment you stop paddling you stop dead in the water. Feels a bit like paddling a large raft more so than a kayak. It is still nice to have for very casual use. -Dont expect to have a smooth time fishing, the fishing pole holders arent very deep and your rod would slip out very easily. No room to store a decent cooler or tackle box.

Get a small electric pump and you are all good. Very good quality camera, easy to use, very stable in water. I enjoyed it very much.

Be very careful and read the reviews. I bought one of these kayaks and it was easy to put together and I loved it for on a lake. I bought a second one for my house at the Shore and one of the valves was defective. I thought I had blown it up anyway, but during the course of using it, my friend noticed the one side where the valve didn’t work was deflating and I got back just in time. I’m so disappointed. It’s a 50-50 shot whether you get one that works or defective. It was too late to return because I had it for a year before I opened it. I was building a new house on the water.

I am writing this review four years after the purchase. I bought two of these so that we could each use them with one of us and one of our dogs. They are easy to pack and use with just one person. Very relaxing and fun to use. We noticed at the end of last year that there was a slow leak on the side. It took a couple hours to even feel anything so it didn’t hold us back from using them. Yesterday we took him out for the first time since last year. We were out about two hours and there was a significant notice in the deflation in one of the kayaks in one section. But again I was out for two hours and able to paddle back and it was just soft, not dangerous. With a quick soap water technique I found the leak and patched it (very small) with the included quick patch kit. Will be using again this week. This has been a very good purchase.

I have only had it on the water 4 times but I am extremely happy. I find the seat very comfortable and feel it gives very good back support. It’s easy to handle and to store. The pump works very well and quickly airs up. So far I am really enjoying it

I bought 2 of these one for me one for my girlfriend. There was this tiny instruction booklet in lots of languages very poor instructions no photos and very small print pretty much had to figure it out on my own or go to YouTube to find a video of how to do it two of the three filling valves were in the open position nowhere did it say how to close them before filling so the air didn’t leak out during trying to inflate them. Once they were inflated it was pretty easy to figure out how the rest of the stuff went everything fit together nicely only part that I didn’t like was the back support didn’t seem to be enough or any pretty much sitting up the whole time without back support that seat is very flimsy even if you tighten the straps as tight as you can get them they’re still not much of a support. They seem very well-made my girlfriend had no trouble with hers she had the 1 inch seat riser installed on her as it seem to work better I would also recommend getting a decent paddle the ones that come with it when they are in the water seem to flex and are not ridged enough I’m sure you can get a better paddles. All in all not a bad kayak just need to get a better seat arrangement so it more comfortable

Absolutely love it!!! Has a sturdy nice thick material. not worried about puncturing. Great for fishing . I’m a first time user and I love it . Even comes with accessories and paddles absolutely no complaints here.

Lo compre en 2450 y por ese precio está muy bien pero si tiene sus detalles.. en mi caso el soporte delante de los pies donde puede ir la gopro estaba desarmada y debería ir ya armada de fábrica sin salirse.. veo que muchos salen con detalle pero por lo que me costó si vale la pena
