I give it four stars because it really does the job given the price but I have a few minor issues. I have KVM switches at work that cost about 30x more than this one and I wasn't expecting this one to match those in terms of performance.I use it to switch between a PC and Mac that I use when I work from home and it definitely does the job for that. I have noticed a few minor issues though. One is input lag. Moving the mouse around can lag noticeably but as long as you aren't gaming with this it is fine. Additionally, it seems to have changed the colour balance so that I had to adjust my monitor settings a bit to make things look normal again.I do really like the physical switch. It works perfectly with my setyup and allows all the wires to be hidden away.UPDATE: the switch seems to do some amount of processing on the image siganl which is really annoying. My devices output high quality 4k signal and I would ideally like it to get to my screen without being messed with. At random times the screen seems to get darker as if the devices was going to sleep or something and then wakes. It's really annoying when trying to get work done.

Does what it says in the tin. It actually supports 4K at 60 frames (surprisingly) on both devices, but does trigger the edid protection on some computers, which is annoying but not insurmountable and forgivable given the price. The little remote switch is a nice touch.Not amazing built quality and for the price the components won’t be top shelf, I’ll probably buy a spare one in case the first one breaks.

Noticably degrades 4K video compared to direct connection so the only use for this is a as a keyboard / mouse switch which it seems to do OK but that could have been accomplished by a cheaper device without the poorly implemented video switching functionality. Would probably switch standard HD video without noticable degradation but this is no use for 4K.

I bought this to switch between a Windows PC and a Raspberry Pi. One reviewer suggests the picture quality deteriorates when this switch is used, but that is not the case. The picture quality is as perfect on both devices as when they are connected directly to my monitor. I'm running both in 2560x1440@60Hz resolution. Windows has an annoying habit of resizing all windows when I switch to the other computer, but that is a fault of Windows not the switch - The Raspberry Pi doesn't do that. A nice feature is, if I leave the switch on the Raspberry Pi and then shut it down, the switch automatically switches to the Windows PC when I start that up. It's also quite small and fits neatly into my desk cable tray - I use the remote control button attached to the monitor base with some blutack to switch between computers. As well as the monitor the in-built USB hub allows me to switch a wireless keyboard and mouse as well as a webcam and an audio headset.

This has been an absolute life saver with me home working at the moment, a solid bit of kit which seems to work perfectly.I've been switching cables over between my home PC and work laptop for months now unnecessarily which was an absolute pain. This device allows me to have my monitors and USB devices such as keyboard, mouse, webcam all plugged into the hub then I just simply have to click a button on the hub to switch everything connected between my two PC's, its that easy! Means I'm no longer messing with cables and in all honesty saves me about 2 minutes or more every single day.Dont know how I lived without one!

I wanted to plug one keyboard, mouse, monitor and multi usb socket box into my own personal desktop and a work laptop. Since installation this switch box has proved to work very well. I have not noticed any lag, slowness or disconnectivity when switching from one PC to the other. Good value of money, and clear where all the cables should connect.

First impression was that everything worked fine, but quickly found that my USB headset would disconnect and reconnect randomly, sometimes staying disconnected until I unplug and re-plug it. Seems to be very sensitive to physical disturbance so I have done my best to mitigate the issue by keeping it flat and away from vibration.So I am still using it but it does still get frustrating at times.
