Candlewick Press (MA) The Princess in Black and the Giant Problem

My daughter read some of these books when she was in 1st grade. Now she is in 4th and saw that they had come out with 2 new books. She begged me to buy them for her and when they arrived she happily devoured them!! She has informed me that she would like it if I purchase any new ones that are published no matter how old she is!! I didn’t read this new book with her, but I used to read them with her and I was always happy at how they portray the princess!! She is a real heroine for real girls!! Disney should take a note!! They are also very fun and witty books that parents can enjoy too!!!

So really? A series with the stories still just as good as the first one? This Princess in Black story did not disappoint! We waited for this bad boy to come out for weeks. We read all of these to my five year old daughter over the course of corona and she loves every single one. She picks them up over and over again and looks at all the pictures and asks us to reread them to her.

My two great-granddaughters love these beautifully illustrated books. The story line is interesting and exciting.We await each new book!!!! I enjoy reading them before I give them as happy gifts and I'm over 88 years young.Keep on writing and publishing these delightful books!!!!

(a 9 year old's review)It's cute, it's also funny! And it's odd.I like the illustrations, and the humor. I didn't like how big they made the baby giant and the grown-up giant.Overall it's not quite as good as the other books.

My daughter loves this series.. It was a gift for her and she loved it. Highly recommended.. Also when you're buying a book, the most important thing is receiving books in a perfect condition. Thats what we got at this purchase. Very happy over-all and highly recommended this seller,
