They are thicker, less likely to tear and cheaper. I use them for garbage cans anyway so they are always on hand. Take off the pan rim (if there is one) and put entire pan in the trash bag. Pat it down and add litter. Put on rim. When disposing litter, take off rim and peel back trash bag so that all litter is inside the bag and dispose. **Q: What is the height of the back wall?** A: I measured 10 3/4 tall.
