True Blood Night Eternal Card Game by Cryptozoic Entertainment

If you enjoy deck style games in the CCG realm this will probably be appealing for you. While this is not a collectable card game (ccg) or living card game (LCG) as some others are, plenty of variety and re-playability exists here. You do need at least 3 players for this game to really work although I've played with two players each playing two hands which also does work after you figure out a consistent turn order or rotation for it.There is a mix of strategy luck and a poker element also as there is an initial ante and then cards that request additional contributions to a given faction. Speaking of which there are two, the Authority and the Monarchy. You do not need to be familiar with the HBO series or books to enjoy this game, you can simply think of them as two suits (eg. clubs and hearts).I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys card games with a fantasy spin especially at this great price point. Let me begin by saying that this is not a game that involves the main characters from the TV series. It's a game that borrows from the True blood world and uses that world to provide a game environment. It's a quick game to learn. The rules are clear and basically it involves doing a variety of card "tricks" to ensure that you have the best or worst hand (sometimes having the worst hand means that you win).The game provides a variety of ways of win and the cards allow for many combinations. Once you get the hang of the game, the rounds move quickly and people don't worry so much about winning or losing. Overall, I would say for the price ($14.99) you have a really quality form of entertainment.The shipper did an excellent job. Arrived in pristine condition. Highly recommend the item and the seller.

I really enjoyed playing this game and it brought lots of laughs and smiles. It was a good gift for my sister who is a fan of the show. When she unwrapped it she couldn't wait to have me and my boyfriend over to play it.

i ordered this game for my 24 yr old daughter and i thought for sure she would love it but it was such a confusing game. alot of reading and she still couldnt get it. she still hasnt attempted to play it again and i bought it for Christmas.

Great game, we played last Halloween and it was a good intriguing card game (not much to do with True Blood other than the factions are called Monarchy and Authority).
