Such a beautiful book, gorgeous illustrations and poignant message. It’s perfect for dipping into on a daily basis and finding a message and illustration that speaks to you. It really is lovely,

I was given a copy for a gift. The best gift you'd want to receive. I've bought 3 more copies to give to friends.I can't find the words to tell you how beautiful, reassuring, uplifting, insightful, guiding this book is. The illustrations, wow, they are emotional, I can't explain that to you, but they are truly so beautiful and touching and blooming adorable.I will always be keeping a spare copy of this book on my shelve incase a friend may need the love and kindness that pours out from this book.If you are wondering if you should buy this book, then I'd say, go for it, give yourself a treat, I guarantee you'll be buying more to gift and share.This is my 1rst ever review on anything.And I'm not really somebody who suggests anyone should spend money, but, I honestly couldn't help it, its so absolutely lovely. I really do hope lots of people get to enjoy it as much as me and my friends have, fact- they have bought the books to pass on as gifts also. I purchased this for my (over 50) friend as part of her Christmas present. When it arrived, the book was actually larger than I expected, and had many more pages... which was a good thing. I had a quick glance through it, and was very impressed by the quality. The illustrations are so beautiful. Part of me wanted to keep it for myself... but I gave it to her. She reported back a few days ago, and said that this wonderful book was one of the loveliest presents she had received. She read it though in one sitting.... and looks forward to doing this again! The words, and storyline were so thoughtful, and thought provoking. This, along with the gorgeous pictures on each page, made it a very meaningful book. A book to look at, and read many times. Definitely a book to keep.In fact, I am going to invest in buying one for myself too.Would I recommend this book.... YES!

I bought this book ready as a Christmas present for a friend of mine who is always so difficult to buy for yet prefers to receive books as presents, never ever giving any hints. Considering she is now completing her Masters in Fine Art, it makes it doubly difficult - but, thanks to Amazon and the regular recommendations I receive over the years, I have been able to buy works for birthdays and Christmas's that have been well-received.I must admit, I was struggling a bit this year until I checked out Big Panda and Tiny Dragon. A quick glance at the Look Inside feature (another big thank you to Amazon) and I knew instantly this was going to be perfect as part of the Christmas presents I would buy. When the book arrived I was astonished. It was hugely better even than I had imagined. Hard cover with perfect printing, quality pages with perfect printing, diagrams, text all in order.I know this book will be well-received...And I was so pleased with the purchase I immediately ordered a second - this one for myself.This really is a beautiful book, a work of art as much as it is a work of philosophy.

I don’t normally write reviews but after reading this book in one sitting, I feel compelled to write a few words.I cannot articulate how beautiful this book is. The illustrations are wonderful but the words of wisdom on practically every page, really touched me on a soul level.This is a book about hope when times are tough. About the importance of reaching out to others when we are struggling, but most importantly about being kind to ourselves and others.I cannot recommend this book highly enough.Thank you to the author for sharing this wonderful gift.
