National Geographic Kids Readers: Ponies

My 2 year old LOVES this entire series of Nat. Geo Readers... I have purchased about 25 different titles, "pre-readers" as well as Level 1 & 2 readers. She loves them all & will ask for certain ones. The "pre-readers" level books are extremely simple & great because she memorizes the words & can "read" it herself. We love the more advanced ones too, because there is more information to talk about. I have learned quite a few facts, myself!) What a great series. The price is reasonable & pictures are great. These are really getting her interested in nature, animals & science... I will continue to buy these as they are released, for our collection!

My 2 year old son loves this book. He is intrigued by horses, so I thought I would take the opportunity to try to teach him a little bit about them in a nonfiction book. He listens to me read it to him and likes looking at the photos and kisses the pony photos. I know a lot of it is over his head, but I like exposing him to nonfiction books to help teach him things here and there. I really like all of the National Geographic Kids books.

Very educational and informative thin book! Lots of fun facts and pictures! Purchased this book for my 3 yr old. He loves the pictures and learning about ponies! Some of the reading is too advanced for him currently but this booo will be utilized for years to come. Perfect for a child who is beginning to read on their own. I have purchased several books of this type and am beyond pleased and impressed.

These are great easy readers for my primer level, ELL 2nd graders. They are great for helping them learn vocabulary and are interesting for my boy students.

My two year old granddaughter likes to read this book. She does prefer grown horses, so having a lot of "baby" horses, as she calls them, gets old after awhile. But, she keeps going back to read this book along with a few other horse books she has.
