Women's 'Edgepoint III' Waterproof Walking Shoes Low Rise Hiking Boots, Grey, 6

I needed a decent pair of walking shoes but didn’t want to spend too much on more expensive brands. I’ve always been happy with regatta in the past and I own a pair of their walking boots that were great on the Inca Trail in Peru, so decided to give these a try.I’m not keen on wellies, and prefer to use walking boots when I can, and so far these boots have got me through mud and snow no problems and my feet are perfectly dry afterwards. They are so comfortable and sturdy, the grip is good and I don’t slip or slide about as much as I used to in the trainers I used to wear.The design is also quite nice and means it goes with most clothing I wear.Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend these.

Comfortable so far, but recommend breaking them in a bit before you use properly. I have quite wide feet and they fit well (I'm a size 5 and bought a size 5). Wore them outside in very wet and muddy terrain and they didn't leak at all! Very pleased.

As someone who has real problems finding footwear to fit, I crossed my fingers big time when I ordered these. OMG they are perfect. So, so comfortable. They arrived 3 hours ago and I've not taken them off yet. Can't wait to go for a good walk in them tomorrow. I am going to order another pair. One word of warning, if you are someone who has foot arch issues, there isn't much in the way of support. My prosthetic inserts fit beautifully though so not a problem. Highly recommend. Oh an I only ordered them last night and they came today. Perfect!

I'm really pleased with my new shoes. I wouldn't normally buy shoes online, but needs must at the moment since my old shoes were on their way out and I needed replacements before the shops open again. I was concerned about fit, since trainer sizes seem particularly random, but returns were free so that was reassuring. I bought size 6 (my usual shoe size is 5, sometimes 5,5 and they fit perfectly. The shoe is well padded, has a good insole which means I don't need my usual gel insoles, and are much lighter than I expected. I risked going for a good walk (about 8k) without breaking them in and they were fine from the beginning. A great buy for the price.

True to fit.Comfortable shoes, would recommend.Have to edit due to the waterproofing - these aren't as waterproof as I'd have liked.I was out for probably 2 hours max yesterday, in the rain, and the shoes are still wet. Not ideal, but definitely recommend using a waterproof spray prior to using!
