Amazon Brand - Solimo Acne Treatment System, 60 Day Repair, 2 Oz (Single)

Been on Proactiv for nearly 6 years. When ever I try to switch I have a major break out! I recently ordered my replacement set on Ebay and it got canceled! Ebay saves money, but reliability isn't nearly what Amazon gives us! Desperate I jumped onto Amazon and gave this moisturizer a try. It came up in the suggestions for the outrageously priced Proactiv moisturizer. I sure appreciate that Amazon does that.I continued my normal regimen with Proactiv Cleanser and Astringent, then using Solimo in place of my Proactiv moisturizer. A week after use I broke out. Tiny little bumps all over my entire face. Normally I'd give up at this point and switch back to Proactiv, but I was completely out. I'm happy to report in now getting the same results as Proactiv moisturizer. It took in all about 2 weeks to level out and for my skin to finally adjust to the change, but it was so worth it!The smell is very mild, it moisturizes very well and is keeping my break outs to a minimum now. Only reason I docked a star is because the lotion leaves a thin coating on my skin. If it gets wet, it feels slimy. I can feel it drying as opposed to absorbing like Proactiv did. That's my only complaint and the biggest Key difference.Once it's dry, my face powder goes on smooth like normal.I love how much I'm saving and now wondering if I should give the entire line a try and save a ton! Once I run out of my face wash and astringent maybe I'll do that! For now, Solimo is saving us a lot of money for my moisturizing needs.

I've been using proactiv solution for years, but after noticing how the price has been increasing on an annual basis, I decided to try something new and more affordable. Solimo is amazon's version of proactiv and I must say, I am very happy and impressed with its performance and results! And it's only 1/4 of the price of proactiv! My GF even says that my face has never been this clear before! So I'd even go as far as too say that it works better than proactiv at a much cheaper price! I use it in the morning and at night before bed. Also, be mindful of what you eat and drink. Try avoiding sugar, dairy(milk & cheese) and oil as much as you can and I promise you that your face will clear up in no time!

I am in my late forties and I've never before had break out on my face but now I am experiencing, I've tried different products but I felt I wasted my money for not results at all, but this product by Amazon is working!!!

Working really well to control my acne. I use it as a spot treatment. Comparable to Proactive step 3. A little too thick of a gel for my liking but it works.

I've always had bad skin, and since pandemic, wearing the masks has my skin out of control. My normal face wash isn't cutting it.I also have very sensitive skin, prone to breakouts (both rash and acne). So I was skeptical trying a stronger treatment.I did not use it all over my face, but along my jaw line where the acne is the worst. A little goes a long way, and I ended up having to wipe off the excess.Immediately, I noticed the redness and swelling around the acne was less. After two days, I hadn't noticed any kind of adverse reaction. I am still far away from 60 day results, but I am very hopeful.The smell is pleasant, and the cream is easy to apply, though takes a little to get it completely massaged in.UPDATE: So I have been using this for a bit now, and I feel like this should have been obvious, but I'll say it anyway. This is peroxide. It will bleach things. Once I had confirmed it wouldn't damage my skin, I started to use it all over my face, putting it on and keeping it on at night and in the morning. So, in my routine, I would first gently wash my face with a washcloth before applying. But since you don't rinse it off, the last application is still on my face. Which is why my blue washcloths started turning pink! Fortunately, this only happened with my washcloths, and not say my pillowcase. But I've learned my lesson. Wash my face with just soapy water FIRST, and then gently exfoliate with a washcloth (or if you have a silicone face scrub, use that)And for how it is working longterm...it speeds up the healing process of acne. WHICH MEANS any acne you had ALREADY starting to form is going to come to the surface all at once. It doesn't mean it's making your skin break out, it's just speeding up the process. If you keep at it, your skin will calm down.

I have mild acne, although depending on my cycle, I get some large acne blotches and sometimes what I'd think of as nearly cystic acne. It's especially bad around my mouth and chin area, with some on my nose and forehead in the T zone. I have tried 10% topical solutions in the past, and they seem too powerful and overly drying.So far with this one, I am seeing vast improvement in old acne spots, as well as cystic spots. I have still gotten a few new spots that have popped up, but this really seems to dry the area out and kill bacteria in the surrounding area. I may need to a larger coverage area and a thin layer. I have had some peeling and dry skin after 2-3 days of usage with my regular wash, but if I tone it down and use this just every other day, while ensuring the skin is clean beforehand it seems to help. I'll watch it long term and see if I see vast improvement next cycle. I plan to preemptively start using it a week or so before hand a couple of times with my regular routine.I did peel a bit, but I used some moisturizer and took it back to every other day and that helped drastically. I have also subbed out with this and Yes to Tomatoes 0.5% salicylic acid. This is much more mild than other 10% benzoyl peroxide solutions on the market. No adverse affects so far on my sensitive skin beyond a little dryness. Much less significantly than a higher percent solution.
