(Pack of 40) 3 1/2 Inch Matte Black Door Hinges with 5/8" Radius Corners

These hinges are a true matte black and matched my new Schlage Plymouth knobs perfectly. The provided screws were plenty strong--not a single one stripped or caused any difficulty. The hinges were a perfect fit for the cutout from the old hinges. I replaced knobs and hinges on 11 doors using just a manual screwdriver (which I don't actually recommend--use an electric screwdriver if you have one). I used 33 hinges, adding hinge pin door stoppers to several of the doors. Only one hinge appeared to be tight which would have been an easy fix (lube) but I just swapped it out because I knew I would have extra. I had no issue removing the pin to add the stoppers. I used a spring pin removal tool (also purchased on Amazon) and they popped right out. After reinserting the hinge pin with the door stopper attached, I used the spring pin tool upside down to get the pin fully inserted--much easier than using a hammer or mallet. Once I knew what knobs I wanted, I shopped around quite a bit for the right hinge. I found these to be the absolute best value based on combination of looks and quality of workmanship. I could not be more pleased with these Hager hinges.

These are exactly the hinges I was hoping they would be. I originally purchase the Amazon Basics hinges in Matte Black and was so disappointed!Comparing Amazon Basics Matte Black to these Hager Black hinges --Hager is flat black, Amazon are glossy (see last two images)-Hager comes with all black screws, Amazon comes with silver screws with painted black tops-Hager comes ungreased, no sound when moving. Amazon comes greased and makes a crackle sound (its unnerving!)I had no issue with thickness that some have mentioned. These were the same thickness as the hinges I took off (builder grade in brand new home).Bought a second pack to finish my whole house! And I love that they are made by an actual hinge maker and I can find matching 4" as well as spring door hinges by Hager.

Easy replacement to original door hinges that came with our new Mastercraft solid core doors from Menards. Our doors are 7ft tall and very heavy, and these hinges work perfectly. They also match perfectly our Schlage Matte Black handles (ASIN B001A5O6F4). We replaced 15 doors with these hinges with no problem. These make a huge difference on your doors, really makes the hardware pop, looks fantastic!

Great hinges and screws. The color matches my door handle perfectly. I did use my power drill to install the screws, it didn’t even strip the color. Great product.

Upgrading my house and I bought these, because brass has to go. I loved how easy they were to install and how sturdy they are. Perfect for that "farm house" or "industrial" look.

I purchased 40 hinges which is more than I needed, with the expectation that I might reject some for paint blemishes. What I didn't anticipate is a 25% defect rate. Of the 40 hinges 9 were stiff and would not move smoothly and another worked fine, but the paint was rubbed off of the edge of the hinge pin head. I had enough to get the job done and the ones that work do work well, but having to throw so many away is wasteful and reduces the value for the money spent.

Great value, and looks great.Changed over all hinges in my house and they look excellent. Some of the hinges had inconsistencies in the finish and a couple squeak after install but for the value and quantity it was easy to switch a few out.

Arrived on time as described. Finally got around to swapping out the old hinges with these and they look great! Good quality hinges, didn't scratch when the screw gun occasionally skittered across the surface. The screws provided were excellent. Not a single screw head stripped out while installing.
