White Fang: 100th Anniversary Collection

Jack London has spent a lot of time with dogs (and wolves) and makes a convincing effort to give the animal's point of view based on what animals actually want and how they learn and change. This makes the story much stronger and more interesting than countless silly stories where the author puts human thoughts into animal characters.The story is pretty dark in parts, so may be unsuitable for very young children.

Great read for any age. I loved London's tone and style. Only complaint is the illustrations could be clearer.

Not yet read the book, but it is well known as a classic.

This is an amazing story typical of Jack London's wonderful talent. I recommend you read Call of the Wild first as it will get you primed for this book. It was thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable.
