Meh
Boxcat would shine as a one-time gift for the cat person in your life, but it certainly isn't worth the multi-month subscription. The treats are homemade, which is nice except that means they go stale fairly quickly; we never made it through the pouch before he started turning up his nose at them. The toys are pretty subpar. Many of them are small bat-around toys and balls, or homemade toys that were cute but just didn't cut it for my cat. There were some large items that turned out to be big hits in my house; a red velvet blanket and a felt tunnel with pop-up spots were clear winners. All said, if your cat is happy with stationary stuffy toys and jingle balls then this might be fine for your house. If not, it would make a cute gift; the shipment comes in adorable themed boxes. But skip the monthly plan until you see what the first shipment offers.

Overpriced
No descriptions on what was in the box. My cat hated the treats and it came with toys he already has seemed way over priced

My cats like the toys
First, the box came completely damaged so they couldn’t use it like the label said. My cats are very picky when it comes to their snacks, but my neighbor’s cats aren’t and they loved your snacks! It is a good value for your money. The toys that came in the box, my cats love and they love the soft furry scratching pad, sometimes they curl up on it and sleep other times they stake their territory over the pad and it’s fun to watch! The ball and string toys they play with a lot as well.

Toys ok, treats are not well received.
Two months I got this, and although the toys were pretty good, none of my cats would eat the treats which is odd because none of them are really picky. Even my dogs were not interested.

Treats are a bit too hard or.need.more flavor.
Like the boxTreats are hard for my cat to eat. I had to mix.with his food. Too hard.

My girls aren't impressed
This month was my first month getting the boxcat box. I decided to try the Luxury box; normally $35.99 a month, my first box discount priced it at $29.99. Included was:* Chicken treats.* A little bunny thing with 2 puffballs.* A carrot.* A mat.* A string-powered jitterpig.* A little jangleball.1. My cats LOVE their food, normally, but kept spitting the treats back out of their mouths as soon as they picked them up :( Additionally there was no nutritional value provided such as estimated caloric or protein content, so I feel hesitant to pass the unused treats to one of my other cat-owning friends.2. The little jitter toy only moved long enough to make them look at it, then I would have to touch it again and the girls would get distracted.3. I think the carrot was intended as a kicker toy, but they were only interested in tearing up the tissue paper. And unless the carrot is their "skincare, wellness item or cat gear item", that item is missing from the box.The quality of the mat isn't what I expected from a "luxury" addition, to be honest- it feels very handmade and flimsy, and my cats immediately disregarded it- and overall what we got doesn't feel like the kind of thing I would expect from a box that costs $36/month.

Not for my cats.
My cats would not go near the treats, didn't even look at the toys, and actually peed on the little red blanket that was maybe a pillow? It might just be my three cats but they were not having any of it.

Handmade treats are amazing! Great quality items!
Our cats are obsessed with these handmade treats! Such a healthier option than store bought. The red blanket was great quality and the toys were better made than the ones at the big box stores. Our dogs were very jealous!

Amazing high quality organic products
My 3 rescues love these handmade treats and toys so much!!! The salmon treats are their fav! My little one carries around the furry ball toys all day in his mouth and I’m teaching him to fetch. The skin care items are organic and high quality. Can’t wait for my next box to arrive! Get the blanket- they love laying on it, super soft suede like material.
