I just took my first pill. Will do an update later. It does smell and taste terrible but wash it down quick with water and you will be fine. Update to come … **update** Delivered Aug 30 today is Sept 5… so 7 days Last year I suffered from high blood pressure. Like 160/105 was normal for me. So I was put on the dreaded medication. I stayed on meds from Oct to Jan. My blood pressure went down to 120/80. Due to a lot of bad side effects I went off the meds and decided now that my bp was normal to just do it on my own with exercise and proper eating (ie low sodium). Eating celery and beets and nuts every day. So from Jan to sept I managed to do that. I stayed consistently at 120/80 however in the past few weeks I was noticing my bp had gone back up to 139/90 as my sodium intake had gone up as I was eating out at restaurants alot. Now while I was at 120/80 I made sure to keep my sodium intake down, I exercised and I ate celery and beets daily as well as nuts. Then I found beet chews so I have been eating those as having beets in the house consistently is not easy. Then I found this product. So in one week I have made sure my sodium intake is low, I have worked out, take two of these pills per day as recommended and I have taken my beet chews and eaten nuts and my bp is back to 120/80. I know my bp is something I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. So so far so good with these. It’s nice not to have to go to the grocery store every few days to buy fresh celery and beets.

Well I was put on 10mg of Felodipine ER blood pressure medicine (after starting out at 2.5mg, then 5mg and upped to the 10mg when it wasn't working) but although the higher dose lowered my blood pressure a LITTLE it was still running 150/86 most of the time and I wasn't happy at all. I also didn't want to get on the cycle of having to take even MORE meds to lower my pressure (they have my mother on 3 different BP pills) due to the side effects as I am very sensitive to drugs of any kind. So I did some NATURAL therapy research. Ran across these capsules here on Amazon, read the reviews and thought "Hey what can it hurt?" and purchased a bottle. Within 3 days (I kid you not) my blood pressure started dropping and now it routinely stays at around 122-130 over 72-77. I could NEVER get it in the 70's whatsoever before this. So I am pleased to say I am lowering it naturally and eventually I plan on weaning myself off the Felodipine to see if the 2 capsules I take a day will keep it lowered. If not I can always try one more Celery Seed Capsule a day (3x a day) or just go back to taking the Felodipine along with the 2 capsules I take now. Either way, these are wonderful and I definitely would recommend you to give them a try. Beats putting more money in the drug companies pockets and taxing your system on top of it!!

It's the only supplement to lower my high blood pressure. My blood pressure was getting out of control. I was averaging 140/89 and my doctor suggested prescription medication. I've "been there, done that" with more side effects than lowered blood pressure. I wanted to try something else. I guess beetroot is really popular right now as many friends kept pushing it. So, I tried it for 3 months. My blood pressure didn't budge and I just didn't 'feel' well. I started looking up different supplements on the web and came upon Celery and Celery Seed Extract. Hmmm. There's quite a lot of research done on Celery. It is thought that the chemicals in celery act to cause sleepiness, increase urine to decrease fluid retention, decrease arthritis symptoms, decrease blood pressure, decrease blood sugar, decrease blood clotting, and muscle relaxation..., even a mosquito repellant. Okay, I'll try it. Since I personally don't like EATING celery, I went for the easy to swallow capsules. After 2 months, I can attest to decreases in fluid retention, blood pressure and my blood sugar levels (Type II Diabetic). My blood pressure is back to normal..., 118/34. I'm impressed. I just 'feel' better. I know a lot of people are singing the praises of beetroot, but I'm sticking with my celery seed extract. It works.

Celery seed extract contains one of the most potent antioxidants, mediates insulin secretion; as powerful a diuretic as some prescription meds without the down sides... and I could go on. Great product but a bit pricey.
