I love this coffee maker. It has all the features I wanted. This is the most reliable coffeemaker I've ever had. I had this coffee maker years ago, but we didn't use it once we put in a hot water dispenser in our kitchen remodel to use for instant coffee. It was a mistake to get rid of our coffee maker because the hot water dispenser leaked and we had to go back to coffee makers. I tried other cheaper coffee makers and went through several of them quickly as they stopped working after only a year. So glad I was able to find this coffee maker again and won't use another one

My daughter bought this coffeemaker for us for Christmas 13 years ago, when she was a barista in college. It just recently started having problems with the on/off switch. My husband and I decided to stick with what works and ordered another one. If we get half the years out of this one, I’ll be happy. Keep it clean and it will last longer. Although it’s not in the cleaning directions, I use a diluted vinegar solution with the self clean setting, then run straight water through a brew cycle. I will update this review if we have any problems, but so far so good!

We had the same pot for 15 years! Time to go crazy & get a new one. Works fine, as did the old one

Model DCC-1200 (Cuisinart Brew Central 12-Cup) is the only coffee maker we purchase when it is time to replace a unit because the warming plate isn't as hot as it was originally. In our experience, this model lasts for 15+ years. We use it at least once a day. It is an attractive design. My only complaint would be I wish the electrical cord was longer.
