Volume (X) Mini Pedal

This pedal is the perfect size and works as both an expression and a volume pedal for my Headrush Core set-up. The pedal is well build and appears to be very durable. It was certainly more expensive than other things on the market, some of which were roughly $50 or $100 less, but this is going to last and doesn't feel small which I step on it. I enjoy having the smaller footprint next to my effects pedal.

I am a professional bassist who doubles on elec and dbl bass often, national theater tours, etc, am VERY picky about my gear. Sound, function, reliability. I needed something for both my large and small pedalboards to either tame my volume when going between fingers and with the bow (small board = A/B box in, tuner, vol pedal, preamp/DI out... using the bow can be louder/uneven when plugged in) or to tame a couple of pedals on the large board that need the elec bass volume up full to give the synth bass or distortion pedals a good signal. Super sturdy, built like a tank. Love that I can adjust the tension on how stiff the pedal can be when opening or closing the pedal (if I accidentally touch it while trying to step on another without it affecting my volume). Tuner out is cool, I don't need it. Works well as an expression pedal if something goes wrong with my Electro Harmonics expression pedal. Very happy, loved it so much, I bought another!

great pedal to use as a volume pedal on an analog board, or expression pedal with your processor. I use mine with an HX stomp and as a volume on my bass board.

Great exp/vol pedal in a small housing. I have and still use different products from Dunlop and always satisfied. This pedal is absolutely wonderful has a flat rubber bottom plate making it perfect for setting on the floor, small housing made of metal feels solid and doesn't take up much space, no external power or battery needed. Remember to get trs cables if you want to use as an exp pedal regular patch cables won't work unless you are using it as a vol pedal. Highly recommend and now considering a mini cry baby 535q as I am starting to like the feel of the smaller pedal more as I can sweep it quicker and have more comfortable control of it.

Excellent volume pedal that is very well constructed. Rugged and very cool that you can adjust the feel of the pedal. Tighter or looser dependent on your preference. Small size makes it an easy addition to your rig. I have the full size version of the same pedal, and the mini is just as good. Good feel. Recommended!

Product built solidly and pedal action is good. One show stopping problem though. This WILL NOT function as an expression pedal due to a missing component on the internal circuit board! Specifically R1 which connects the Exp output jack TIP contact to the pot wiper - it is simply not there leaving open circuit. I fixed mine by soldering a wire across the R1 position. Now it works. I would expect more from this company but hey we're living in 2025...

This is a well built, very versatile and functional pedal. But I'm docking a star because the pedal tensioner BLOWS. I bought two of these and sent one back because I honestly thought it was defective. The manual says to turn the tensioner screw clockwise to increase the tension. I did this to the point where the tension screw bottoms out (stops) with both pedals. One increased the tension slightly, the other one the pedal was just floppy and wouldn't stay in heel down position (that one got sent back). The replacement was the same, so I figured it must be me doing something wrong and I contacted Dunlop. It turns out this is a common issue and that if you remove the bottom of the pedal and adjust the 2mm Allen screws on each side of the rocker post, you can increase the tension. The manual of course says nothing about this and there is nothing online either. Be warned that these screws will already be bottomed out so you have to crank the hell out of them. Be careful not to strip the hex head. IMHO Not the best design. This could easily be much better.

Works perfect for the HX Stomp. Reverse polarity switch inside and then usual set up. Works with trs cable for 2 expressions as well. I expect it works fine as a volume pedal, but expression pedal is more useful. Solid and compact.

Secondo che compro. In questo caso ricondizionato da Amazon. Il ricondizionato consisteva nel fatto che non c’era più la Scatola originale. Quasi 90 euro di meno. Mica poco, no? Poi il pedale è perfetto.

I received this pedal today and I have to say that it has exceeded my expectations. The build and performance are absolutely amazing. The size is perfect and takes up no more space than a regular sized pedal. I am extremely please with it and would recommend it to at least give a test run to.
