Great for kids
As others have mentioned, the pieces look metal but are plastic and not entirely sturdy. But it’s chess so how sturdy does it really need to be? My son, a young chess and Star Wars fans, absolutely loves it. It makes a great gift and is a fun take on the classic chess board.
