## Description

When feet are rough and calloused, a gentle scraping with the extra-large Microplane Colossal Foot File smooths skin instantly.
This sturdy yet light weight foot scrubber is comfortable to hold. We make salon-quality, affordable foot care in your own home easy.
When you need to sanitize your Colossal Foot File for salon use, simply remove the handle and place it in an autoclave.
Microplane is the original manufacturer to apply photo-etching technology to graters, an innovative process designed to create ultra-sharp grater blades. Made in USA, the tiny, razor-sharp teeth act like finely honed knives, cutting ingredients with precision rather than tearing them. Created as a woodworking tool, the original zester revolutionized grating in 1994 finding enthusiastic support from professional chefs & culinary enthusiasts.
Graters (excluding Master Series) are dishwasher safe. However, to ensure that the blades stay sharp as long as possible, we recommend washing them by hand.
Each product we offer comes equipped with a protective cover for increased longevity and ease of storage. Our hand-held paddle graters feature non-slip rubber feet, offering superior stability.
Thanks to the sharpness of our blades, a minimal effort is all it takes for food to glide gently and easily off the blade without needing to apply any pressure.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I also have big corns; can you use this product on corns?**
A: Not sure if this was a corn but I had a painful corn or a callus on the side of my small toe. . I had it shaved down with a blade type shaver in a doctor's office but it came back. I used a blade type shaver a couple of time myself and it came back. I then bought this rasp and again used a blade type shaver and gently finished with this rasp. Hasn't come back for 2 years.

**Q: Is this better than the "Ped Egg"?**
A: In my opinion, it is so much better (in every way) than Pedegg. Cuts down the time and effort by minimum of 50%. You don't even have to prep the skin like soaking and softening. Just go at it whenever the mood strikes and be done with it in about 5 ~ 10 min.

**Q: does this work on wet feet**
A: This is the kind of foot plane they use in the shops for professional pedicures... on WET feet or least feet that have soaked in warm water. I prefer using it on wet feet because the skin being scrubbed off doesn't fly all over the place like it does with dry feet. You just have to use common sense & not over do it... a nice smooth movement as opposed to a put all the elbow grease you can into it kind of movement. You will be stunned at how much dead skin comes off. I mean STUNNED.

**Q: Why should I buy this over regular pumic stones?**
A: I have both, and the pumice stones help some, but the foot file was so much more effective in removing old skin and softening my feet.
