I love this wheel, its safe and easy to put in the cage and my sugar glider loves it! She runs in it whenever shes in her cage and when i get a bigger cage, ill get another so i dont have to worry about my sugar gliders hogging the other wheel. The most i like about this wheel is that it doesn't have a center post like a Wodent wheel does, which worried me because mine liked to hop in it and i didnt want her getting hurt. its easy to clean because i can leave it in the cage and spray everything without removing the wheel. It is silent, which is a big plus, no squeaking parts! The color is a nice deep blue, it brought some character to my cage. Whats another great thing is that its easy to get my sugar glider out of this wheel! If i ever go out suddenly, i can scoop her up easily and put her in her pouch and be off on my way. This wheel is worth the price. :)

This is the best wheel I have come across for sugar gliders. It prevents the possibility of a tail getting wrapped around any moving parts. It's QUIET which is one of the best things. When I received it brand new, the mesh was all wavy from manufacturing and shipping. I used boiling hot water to relax the new plastic mesh, and smoothed it out with my hands. It worked, and now the wheel is perfect. I had tried wodent wheels and silent spinners before this. I think the little openings in the wodent wheel kept catching my little guys legs. he has a wide hind leg running posture, and the wodent wheel only exacerbated this, it appeared painful. But this wheel by atticworx is awesome. He doesn't have anywhere to hurt himself on it. This wheel is by far the easiest to clean. I'll admit that I was held back buy the large price tag at first, but when my little guy had to be temporarily moved to a smaller cage, I knew his usage of the wheel would increase, and the silient spinner is a temporary thing for a travel situation. I can say this wheel is totally worth the investment. Don't even waster your time or money with those other wheels. And if there is one thing a small fast animal would like in their cage above all else, it's a nice wheel. Don't skimp out and your be will be healthier and happier.

Mounting hardware not great... missing a washer that I went to the hardware store to get. Wheel doesn't spin true and is slightly warped. Not a deal breaker but definitely not perfect. Ball bearings silent and my suggies don't keep me up at night playing so still earned 3 stars even after the trouble.

My rats love it. The quality of the bearing is superior. It turns smooth and quiet so far, been a few months. It did take a fair amount of time for them to get used to but once they did they seem to love it. Aside from the bearing it is made from pretty cheap parts. Not flimsy just not expensive. The back bars are PVC, the edges of the wheel are bucket lids, and the mesh is plastic. They whole thing is quality and well built I just don't know if it deserves such a hefty price tag. Unfortunately there are no alternatives.

My sugar gliders love this wheel! It is safe for them to use and won't hurt their tails. It is the perfect size for them to jump and just ride around and around. This was one of the best purchases I could have made for my babies. It is silent and very sturdy. I've actually bought an additional wheel so that both of my babies can have their own. Needless to say, they fight over it. :) Cannot recommend this enough for sugar gliders.

this came quick and in perfect condition....I am very pleased with it! I put it in my cage all by myself thanks to the hooks for holding it in place. Once I had the zip ties secure, the entire thing was immovable. After getting the wodent wheel for my suggie and then finding out it isn't safe, I was between getting this one and the raptor wheel...from pictures and reviews, I chose this one and I am glad I did! Looking forward to welcoming my new baby with this awesome wheel. Oh and this thing is super QUIET! It is called the stealth wheel for good reason :)

I have sugar gliders. These are adorable little creatures that need to exercise and running in a wheel is the perfect option. We previously had a wheel that was recommended to us from a glider supply site. Immediately we knew there would be issues. Please let me preface this by stating the wheel we used worked and nothing was wrong with it. It was just wrong for us. Sugar gliders are most active at night. Ours typically wake up and want to have fun around 8 or 9pm. This time at night my husband and I are winding ourselves down from our day. Kids have been put to bed, not asleep usually but at least in the room. This is the time we get to enjoy by ourselves watch tv we couldn't with the children maybe rent a movie. This is where our problems with our lovable sugar gliders come in. The old wheel we had made noise while they would be running. The cage is located in our living room since everyone can see them and play with them. The idea of having nocturnal creatures in one of our bedrooms was a no go as well. The noise from the wheel was loud enough where we would have to increase the volume on our tv to compensate. Having a loud tv thus made it harder to watch some genres and rated r movies that again we didn't want our children to see or hear. Issue #2 with the old wheel- cleaning it. It had a cover with holes in it where the gliders could climb in and out. Unfortunately in order to clean you had to remove the entire wheel from the cage and remove a screw in order to access the track. It wasn't horrible or really difficult but at the same time we would think to ourselves, "couldn't this be easier to do?" This is why we really started looking for a new wheel. This one is more expensive but the above 2 items are no longer issues. No noise from the wheel. We can hear the pitter patter of our gliders running and that's it. We can now watch a movie or tv! We may not be trying to win a gold for our country but this was one of those moments where you have to celebrate the small victories.

I ordered a wheel in october and it was wobbly. Didnt feel like going through the hassle of returning it. Thought maybe just a flaw with the wheel and the cage was a little flimsy. I ordered two more got them yesterday and they are wobbly also.And the two cages are well built. So its the wheels and not the cages. Its a hassel to return these things .I sent an email to atticworx waiting for a response.
