Banana Loca® Kitchen Gadget - Core & Fill A Banana While Still In Its Peel

Takes a little practice to do it well, but only a little. Lots of fun. I filled bananas with several things including peanut butter, chocolate, Nutella, jelly, and a peanut butter and jelly mixture. It is a little difficult to clean, but the results are worth the trouble.

Its fun the kids love it and honestly I kinda did to. Its a bit difficult and tasking though taking it apart to clean and it does not really store well but if your up for the task of cleaning it putting it together etc. Ide say go for it just for the fun but it is super inconvenient

This is quite simply fun! We’ve used it for the advertised use of filling bananas with hazelnut chocolate spread, but also for cucumbers with flavored cream cheese and sour cream/mayo-based dips. It’s easy to use and the sliced end product is delicious.

Like you, I saw this on SharkTank. My g.f. loves bananas and peanut-butter, so I figured this is a fun stocking-stuffer for xmas. It was. It was "fun" to make these PB stuffed bananas for everyone (kids, grandkids, etc.)... then the clean-up came. Ugh. what a pain. Honestly, that will deter you from ever wanting to do that process again. Especially if you're only wanting to make one or two stuffed 'nanas... I mean, you can only eat one yourself, and maybe you do it for your partner or kids, but at the end, you made basically 1 serving (each). Not like you can make a bunch and save them (those nanas get brown fast out of the skin). Shame, because in-spite of all that, they are delicious! But, the ROI or as they say, "The juice ain't worth the squeeze". Too much effort.

I had such high hopes of eating Nutella bananas. I was so excited when I received this that I immediately went out and bought some bananas. The included instructions were just pictures and my mind wasn't understanding them for a frustratingly long time. I did not realize this contraption came apart for the longest time. After watching some videos of how it's done, I was able to core my banana and insert it to be pumped with Nutella. The banana cored fine enough, but promptly broke in half when I tried to 'straighten' it per the instructions. I tried to do it carefully and slowly, but ruined two good bananas. I tried injecting Nutella in the last broken one, but just ended up with it gunking up the entire inside of this thing and not getting a single drop in the banana. The last straw was being unable to completely clean out the corer part. There was no way to get all the banana pieces out. I ended up just throwing the whole thing away. This would've been great if it actually worked.

Me and my kids had so much fun with this. Very simple. You can make so many different variations both inside and out with the banana. Totally worth the purchase!

Fun idea but the mess is not worth the money and hassle! Better off to spread a topping on the banana for all it's worth. Too much wasted nutella or peanut butter to clean out of the various parts! Would make better sense to make mutiple bananas at once and eat immediately or cut into coins and freeze. A walnut on top of the slice with nutella is a good idea. I ordered for myself to try before ordering for my grandkids. Glad I did.

I bought it and i don't even have any kids at home anymore. It's a great snack. The picture is the first one I made. Since your just removing the top of the banana I will make one put it in a baggie into my purse and take it on the go with me. Then you just peel it and eat. It keeps me from eating junk when I'm out. Sweet and healthy and travels well. Like on a plane. Sometimes the banana is too big for the holder so I cut it in half and fill both sides. You only use a very small amount of filling in the hopper. The left over in the nozzle you just use the stick to push it back out into the jar so there's no waste. The clean up is basically rinsing it off. I keep coming up with new fun fillings to put in the bananas, anything soft will do. Last one I made was Chocolate Cream Pie center. You can also use a Cucumbers instead of bananas. I heard you could fill it with cottage cheese. I might try it with a thick dressing. I recently bought several of them and had them sent to family members that I thought would enjoy it. They are a little expensive, that's the only draw back I can think of

es un producto de buena calidad, se nota en el material. El punto en contra es que no se puede utilizar fruta demasiado pequeña ya que la parte al medio. Pero si se tiene cuidado anda bien. Es un poco complicado de lavarlo pero trae su cepillo, que es un buen punto va a tener en cuenta por el fabricante. El producto cumple con las expectativas.
