Not sure what you mean, when you say, "Does it leak?" It's a tool governed by mechanical force. As such, I used it on my tractor when I put new connector ends on the battery cables, where it did a perfectly beautiful job of smashing the cable to the cable end. They won't be coming loose any time soon.
